Void Feast Bounty Bug
The Void Feast bounty does not count Devour streaks, as shown in the video.

3 RepliesIt actually does work, but is just worded poorly. You would think it means to chain 10 kills to keep devour active. That is not what it means. It means get 10 devour kills (charged melee attack) in one life. Really poorly worded, but that will work.

Try doing 10 mêle kills and devour grenade if there is pause in adds. I had to keep devour active and use monticarlo to charge mêle. If devour stopped I lost my mêle chain. Basically delete this crap bounty it was not worth the hassle.

4 RepliesIt means a 10 kill streak with Devour the melee ability. So max your strenght and if you have it, use Montecarlo.

Easily the worst worded bounty and there’s stiff competition.Like another user stated, put on Claws/Hunger Attunement. Consume grenade, melee two enemies, rinse and repeat.

The way I see it, since it's listed as a known issue at the time it's released, and it still is dropped as one of a very limited number of daily bounties, Bungie should just auto-complete it for us. We are already at a significant disadvantage in these games.

I totally noped out of that bounty when I realized it was charged melee streaks. It's ridiculous. 10 kills whole devour is active? Sure. 10 charged melee kills while devour is active? I'll go walk off a cliff instead.

Edited by Manslave2Eris: 4/22/2020 2:14:04 AMI don't know if the Bounty itself is jacked up or if it's another case of absolute shit wording with no explanation of what actually needs to be done but this is what I ended up doing and it got the bounty done... Maxed out my strength, threw on Nezarek, fired up Devour with punching something to death and then blew crap away with Recluse (any void kills will work though) to help rebuild and as soon as I saw the Melee charged up again punched something to death. repeated until I saw that I had 1 of 2 done. Went and made coffee then repeated the process. Edit... That's how I did it. As franworf080 pointed out in another reply though... Monte Carlo for building the melee back up would be a better and faster option.

Can echo the issue with the Devour bounty. Fusion grenade bounty and Stormcaller bounties so far have worked fine. Just the Devour one. Probably an issue with how its tracked considering that every kill resets the Devour timer, so it might be trying to track kills as the timer goes down, but when the timer resets, so does the kill counter. a foolish oversight, but not a surprising one, if that's the case.

Thanks for this. I'll just Delete that Bounty and move on. Sure says a lot about Bungle's Q&A. And this isn't a COID issue, this is Bungle just pooping things out and note even bothering while they put 99.9% of their people on their NetEase IP.

Yep, I noted it's broken as well. Tried several times in various locations. Dorked. Eva's got at least one bug in the Tower as well. Quality control seems to be an oxymoron here.
