The aim assist is extremely high and the flich is to low
Scout rifle and pulse rifle lose 85% of the time vs revoker and beloved

I was hoping it wasnt just me. If I'm shooting someone in the head with Randy's or some other scout like 3+ times in a row that should be flinching them to shit
-
Funny story. I was just in a control match and I was hitting this guy for all crit shots, aka full in the face, with The Summoner with High Caliber rounds (causes extra flinch) and he just snipes me in the head.
-
I think the flinch should go up more but also change the flinch direction from vertical to horizontal like it was in Destiny 1
-
6 RepliesIf you get hit while sniping you should get de-scoped.
-
14 RepliesJust a question for people. Do yall classify telesto as a broken fusion? if so, why?
-
Change their aim assist to legendary scout level. Problem solved
-
4 RepliesEveryone on this thread needs to learn to pay with their head and they’ll stop getting their head taken off. Adding flinch to snipers during Forsaken made shot guns run rampant. Everything has a counter. Learn to adapt you damn dirty apes.
the flich is to low
Seems nonexistent for me lately...
-
I snipe all the time, I use bite of the fox, revoker, and beloved depending on my mood. I have enhanced unflinching on and pretty much every other sniper mod, auto rifles like hard light, monte and summoner flinch the life out of me, if i miss a quick scope or a peek snipe im pretty much dead
-
4 RepliesThey made sniping to ez again, but be careful, users will defend it and call it skill.
-
4 RepliesI'd like the zero flinch that you seem to be facing on my character when using a sniper.
-
There’s definitely enough flinch in snipers, the problem is Bungie decided to make the reticle move towards the the head when being flinched rather than anywhere else. Still pretty dumb, but otherwise the amount of flinch itself is fine.
-
Flinch shouldn't reset the reticle, or at least not completely. The fact that getting flinched again fixes or resets the original flinch is downright idiotic.
-
1 ReplyI dont understand how people don't agree. 1 shot takes u off your aim point, the next brings you back in. Never seen such none sense flinch in a game.
-
6 RepliesBeing shot with high cal or explosive payload rounds should descope a sniper.
-
I agree was in a game with 2 snipers slowing the game down to a crawl. They kept body shooting me in movement I know it take skill but at the moment aim assist it to high and if I hit one with scout rifle first I sould never get hit real life lol another thing when I put up a titan barricade when when the enemy walks through it it dont disoriented the aim like when I get tethered make the aggressor aim get off set smh bungie sending people why you quit summary smh
-
On Pc, yeah. On console, no.

5 RepliesNeed to kick you out of scope if you get shot while using a snipe

I remember all the way back when TTK released and this was a massive problem. I'm not surprised this is still a problem. How long has it been since TTK dropped? I used to call these people "hallway heroes" since they would always camp out long, narrow lanes. And then get excited and endow themselves with some sense of skill when all they have is decent reaction time and terrible sniping mechanics.
-
... Hard Light flinches snipers way too much I think. Good post tho.
-
4 RepliesWait... there's flinch on a sniper, calling bs, I don't believe you.
-
They always talk like they want the guns to behave in line with their archetype. You shouldn’t be able to whip one out and blast someone in the face (especially at close ranges) while you’re being shot. A sniper should require you to be first it’s not something that should be able to bail you out when someone got the jump on you.
-
Snipers do flinch but I believe it’s the flinch patter and the way magnetism works that allows them to still headshot while getting blasted in the face with any gun. Imo snipers should be slowed down. For example snipers are really big heavy guns, it should take a bit of time to go ADS and if you get hit you should be knocked out of ADS immediately. Then reduce the way aim assist works on really long range weapons and I think you’d have yourself a niche weapon that some people could specialize in but that wouldn’t be for wicked fast no aim OHKs.

17 RepliesYep and it flinches onto head.... hideously broken weapons
-
Yeah. I LOVE it when I land all crits and break the shield of a sniper, just for him to take my head off because my shots helped put his reticle on my head...

2 RepliesFlinch mods need to go away. Flinch needs to happen every time you are getting hit no matter what. You should feel flinch much more when you are receivingheadshots and less when you are receiving bodyshots. I do not run flinch mods but I know other players do is pretty beneficial to them I suppose but it doesnt belong in a game where stability or range drop off is not a issue.
