I enjoyed the improvements 2 had in terms of gameplay, 1 had a better story/atmosphere. I just didn't like infinite at all.
-
All 3 good but infinite supported PS Move

Would you kindly make this a penis poll?

Now THIS one is even.

This thread made me want to play Bioshock again, so I popped into a few stores to try and find the Collection, and apparently you can’t find it anywhere. Ugh. -.-
-
This reminds me I still need to play Bioshock... I started it years ago but... must have gotten distracted by other releases.
-
I’ve never played any of them, is it more like Borderlands or Half-Life?
-
Bioshock 1 is vastly better than 2 and infinite. It had a greater story imo, and the characters were great. I will give credit where credit is due however. 2 had a pretty good villain and infinite’s setting of Columbia was gorgeous.
-
1, but I also really liked 2. You'll never convince me Call Of Duty: Infinite was a good game, though.
-
... I tried to play the first one, and it made me about sick...
not included in the DLC
-
The first one. It was creepy, weird, but cool. All those that followed got too weird and trippy. Not something I am a fan of.
-
Never played any of them, my good flibbert.
HAIL HYDRA!!!!!!
My personal ranking is: 1) Infinite 2) 1 3) 2

Edited by Swiftlock: 4/20/2020 2:38:54 AMBioshock 1 was far and away the best. B2 was enjoyable for one playthrough, but had nowhere near the same level of intrigue and dread as the first game, which really deflated the experience for me. Infinite totally nailed the aesthetic they were going for... but the final few sections are a pretty unsatisfying slog gameplay-wise. The game tries to do some cool things here and there but doesn't expand upon them as much as they should've. It feels like 2K tried to get ambitious with Infinite and stumbled quite a bit, but it's still worth a go nonetheless. There are some pretty big revelations to the whole Bioshock lore that were good to witness.

The collection was free on ps+ earlier but i havent gotten a chance to play through them next. Any tips going in (no spoilers tho)?

I liked infinite, was kinda a idiot and played it before the others, due to it being the first downloaded when they came out free... The others felt boring and old, infinite felt somewhat modern...

Edited by Caggus: 4/19/2020 11:18:08 PMI like 2 the most, the combat is just better. The story isn’t as riveting or as interesting as the first but I still thought it was a good story nonetheless which is done a solid by the great somber violin OST that accompanies it. I’m a sucker for ruined/decrepit areas as well so seeing Rapture go even further down the shithole since Bioshock 1 just looked awesome to me, not to mention I loved the concept of playing as a big daddy. It’s a close competition between 1 and 2 but I think 2 narrowly edges it out. I don’t like infinite as a game and as a story and never will. If they’re doing a new Bioshock game, I’d rather it be returning to an even further destroyed Rapture than anything else, maybe a pre civil war rapture even.

I think the gameplay for 1/2 is better. More involved and more RPG elements. However, what Infinite did for the story makes it my favorite. Especially with the Burial at Sea DLC.

Never played em

2>1>Infinite. If they’re really making a new one, they’d better make it more like the originals. Infinite is absolute garbage.
