I climbed 999 levels.
That does not mean i started at 750 and worked my way up. No. I ground the full 999, which is a slight more satiafying than 1000 light levels, cause nines.
But yeah, i started on day one, and i worked my way to where i am, step by step.
Yet it didn't occur to me until recently that there is even anything to be said about that 750 cap. Seriously, it pushes EVERYONE into endgame far too quick, and then you've got all these people complaining about wanting more endgame stuff to do.
So whatever happened to makingthat light level feel like a level, and not a number that tells you every other guardian is stronger than you and you're just weak, even at 980 light?
Thats only 230 levels above 750, which all day one players still playing worked for, level by level. People like me didn't get this handed to us ona silver platter, where we could skip the ENTIRE destiny 2 game and jump straight to the very end. Thats how you make a shit storyline. You skipped the how and just went straight to the finish.
Now, the real math says that is one thousand and ten light levels, from 1 to max.
Yo. Why in hell are you struggling to provide us with what we ask for, when we could still have plenty to do, just not end game? Destiny 2 is so full of end game, that you have to grind in a shit pool for over a month to be able to even BEGIN messing around with endgame, which is over 80% of the game.
Any statements about grinding large amounts of light levels in short periods of time are completely invalid and unwelcome. Grinding light faster doesn't make the game easier to enjoy, it makes it much less enjoyable, and people who want to say otherwise are going to say otherwise because they're obsessed with victory and completion.

Somehow it just doesn't seem worth the effort now does it
