Linux Support via Wine/Proton

Supporting another platform is incredibly difficult, which is why I don't think that is the way to go with getting Destiny 2 on Linux. Instead I think that getting proper support for things like Proton/Wine/DXVK is something that myself and many others would love to see happen with D2. There is already an open issue on the Proton GitHub: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3112, and tons of reviews on Lutris about how the game behaves poorly. As of right now, any player who tries to run D2 via something like Lutris gets banned, even though the install process is successful and the game seems to run quite smooth. This clearly is happening for a good reason (probably anti-cheat? Seeing as Wine is a pass through it provides the user a possible exploit to inject unexpected messages to the game). However, with all the talk on the forums and the recent anti-cheat efforts with Trials, I'm really hoping that we can get to a point where these risks from running on Linux are mitigated. At the very least I would hope that instead of perma-banning that try to play on Linux, we can get an actual user-facing message to allow innocent players the chance to not play. Thanks for the time! - Ben
