I think i know the cause of the gambit freezing (please take this with a grain of salt as its just what i heard)
Ok so from what i heard from another player is that when a player levels up their season pass while playing gambit it will cause everyone in the match to freeze and they will have to reset the game. Again please note this is just what I heard and isnt confirmed but my advice currently is don't play gambit until they fix the issue.
