I love this weapon in PvE and I know any changes in PvP will likely have negative consequences for its performance in PvE also. But I’m looking at the game long-term, not just the here and now. Recluse is too powerful. I know many of you feel like you’ve earned it and it should be over powered. But for the rest of us, we can see this is not sustainable. Just like all the other old OP weapons that have gone down the drain, we know it will come eventually. I don’t want Recluse to suffer the same wrath that other pinnacle weapons did but damn, as it stand right now, it’s just too damn powerful. Everyone and their mom is using it. It’s cheesy af. I know the recoil takes some getting used to in console. But other than that, it’s just too OP. I think the damage numbers need to come down just slightly, at least the body hit damage. You shouldn’t have to hit someone in the head several times with a scout rifle or hand cannons at normal range but then that player instantly kills you with Recluse despite all your head shots. It’s a gross abuse of the current sandbox. Anyway, I know many of you will disagree and send me hate messages or just tell me to git gud or whatever the hell it is. If you think like a reasonable adult tho, you’ll agree with me deep down inside. This is not good for the longevity of the game. It might fix your appetite right now but alas, it’s killing the game experience.
