The easiest solution is just to add a mod slot to all exotic weapons. This issue is just going to rear its ugly head again with whatever weapon mods they introduce in the next season pass.

I agree but should be pve exclusive mods given pvp balance issues

The Unstoppable & Barrier mods have no effect in PvP, therefore it wouldn’t be a problem. We’re talking about the season mods, not regular mods.
