Worst crucible map: Twilight Gap
Did you really release a map where it's impossible to create distance and use a mid/long range weapon?
What is this map? A tribute to shotguns and SMGs?
And on top of this map being a hot pile of dog$hit, 1 out of 3 Iron Banner games is played there.
Did it not occur to you that people might not want to use SMG or shotgun?
Take this map away, please. It's just a horribly designed map. It's OK, mistakes happen. We're all human after all. Just remove it from the map pool and we can all forget about it.

It's absolutely awful, atrocious, I HATE it. Worst multiplayer map by a mile, and me too. I instantly quit quickplay if this clusterf*ck of a map loads. Vile.

For all those celebrating the return of this map keep in mind that it's different from D1. It's more cramped and sniping lanes are blocked. There is a legitimate reason to be upset about all this. It isn't impossible to use a sniper or a scout rifle; they just made it much harder for no good reason. The distance between certain areas also seem to be reduced.

3 RepliesNo way. I like this map. Fragment, however, is garbage. It's exactly like every other stinking Vex map. If you don't like using SMG's, stick to the perimeter of the map. If you go in the building's, it's all close combat.

Well yeah a close quarters map is for short range loadouts. I like it cuz it changes up the pulse and scout game. On twilight gap I’ll run TLW and shotty or submachine and sometimes a sniper for those crispy snipes. What’s the big deal.

2 RepliesAdding twilight gap back into the game is mostly just for nostalgic purposes, because it was one of the most beloved maps in d1. The inner part of the map is great for shotguns and smgs(recluse), but if you want some ranged game play try playing the outer parts of the map. Great sniper sight lines and if you hold b you can see both sides.

funny how people hate shotgun warriors but love this map. this is one of the best maps to be a shotgun warrior on.

It played better in D1 iirc. I'm not sure if it's been messed with a bit, like shrank in places. Maybe they stuck more obstacles in there. Dunno, it doesn't play as well as I remember anyway.

there are spots on this map for ranged weapons, i think you're just not looking hard enough or don't want to camp which you would kinda have to do if using a scout or sniper

2 RepliesThis map is the best for faking out people with so many exits and paths in the mid section. The long section along the edge of the map on both sides create a sniper lane. The B flag creates a good mosh pit for melees and shotguns. Outside portion creats a huge atmosphere for in air supers. I dont see whats so bad about it, it has everything you need.
