It could be something wrong with your game files, it could be something wrong with your hardware or it could be both. We'd need more information like your hardware specs and when this started happening to even remotely try to figure out what is causing it.

Edited by JuicySham: 8/28/2019 10:21:05 PMWow, thanks for the quick reply. My specs are: RTX 2080 Ti i7 6700 16GB RAM These crashes happen during low intensivity parts of the game, such as when I am loading into a nightfall. This leads me to believe that this isn't an issue with my hardware being overloaded. My game is saved onto a 500GB nvme with 58GB free. This issue started about a week or two ago, the only notable thing I did in that time was install some razer software for my new mouse, but this was on my ssd, a completely different drive. This issue also sometimes happens in the middle of a crucible match, where I doubt any local data files are being accessed on my computer, so I'm not sure what's causing the crashes then. Furthermore, I haven't had any crashes when playing other games installed on my nvme, it's only when playing Destiny 2. I'm just as lost as you are, sorry for the vagueness.

That's ok, that helps out somewhat. Is your Blizzard launcher and your game installed on two separate drives by chance? This game is really sensitive about that. Also, what's your network been looking like? Are you on wired or wireless?

Just checked, my launcher is installed on a separate drive from my game, I'll fix that and see if it works. I have a wired connection, and it's very stable. It's probably going to be a while before my game crashes again, so I'll just transfer the launcher for now. Thanks for the help!
