Pretty neat. Little known fact: you can take half a player's health at even further ranges than this.
Imagine the possibilities.

Imagine letting someone ding you with a Fusion Rifle twice 😂
-
I pestered opponents on Altar of Flame with my Wizened Rebuke. Shot several of 'em and my team mulched what was left lol.
-
A burst or two from any pulse rifle would do more damage faster.
-
But this is more annoying lol
-
Why? Because it was more easily avoidable? Honestly, pretty sure an Outbreak could notch up a kill in the time it takes a Liquid Coil Erentil to charge up.
-
Yea but my back up plan errentil has clocked consistent 43m OHKs And it can double burst faster than your outbreak can kill.... so there’s that... Also I can jump fusion out to 25 ish meters... The only counter to fusions are: Teamshot A really good sniper (talking high comp dedicated sniper) An extremely aggressive shotty push in a team setting
-
I.E not playing a mid-range game, like everyone does now? Yeah, that'd break the Fusion "meta"
-
So, relegating yourself to less than 10m where you can basically only use a shotgun? Or playing the like one lane on a map that’s longer than a fusion rifle can reach? Lol k
-
Shotty/SMG/Mountaintop, and the latter is a design issue more than anything - Bungie never should have caved to people whining about First Light.
-
MT is like a hard counter to fusions... however, my whole point is that fusions are too strong for how easy they are to use. They really elevate the game of otherwise average players. Sure, a good high comp shotgunner or MT player is gonna beat a fusion... But it’s the average players that essentially get free easy kills that they would never get otherwise that annoy me...
-
It might. But who would expect a dude to pop out with a high impact fusion to engage in a range well outside of it's capabilities? Its obviously not a competitive edge by any means but it can really confuse opponents.
-
Imagine 2 other COMMON fusions that can do the same thing. 🤔
