Scouts are good. Players just dont want to stand in the back off the map.. they have a faster ttk than most pulses

If you compare the frame types, Pulse Rifles beat Scout Rifles in every one of them for optimal TTK. Pulse values on the left, Scouts on the right. High-Impact: 0.67s vs 0.80s Adaptive/Precision : 0.93s vs 1.00s Lightweight: 0.87s vs 0.90s Rapid-fire: 0.80s vs 0.93s Scouts don't even have an equivalent archetype to Aggressive Frame Pulse Rifles that clock in at 0.73s. To say that Scouts kill faster than most Pulse Rifles is flat out wrong.

Adaptive Pulse = Most used at .93 ttk Precision Scouts = .9 ttk Mida is a precision scout, has 90 AA and exotic perks.. double the range of a base bygones (adaptive). But we need to buff them? Ok.

MIDA is a Lightweight Scout, for a start, so it loses to the equivalent archetype of Pulses. Beyond that, MIDA has a base range of 41, Bygones has 53. I don't know what the zoom values are for either of the scopes but Bygones has more range if you apply the base range multiplies. Honestly, I'd rather MIDA have Kill Clip and Arrowhead Brake, like the default Bygones. Then, what about Blast Furnace and Go Figure, which have a lot of popularity among Pulse Rifles? They match the highest Range Scout Rifles for damage drop-off and kill faster than every archetype of Scout Rifle. Same goes for High-Impact Pulses. Beyond that, Scout Rifles have greater zoom (i.e. bad) and inflict less flinch to your opponent. Pulse Rifles are straight up better than Scout Rifles in every department. Consistency, average TTK, perk selection, availability, the list goes on. If you can't see that Scout Rifles are in need of a buff then you're blind.
