MK11 dropped with loot boxes/microtransactions and a busted economy/hearts and the Twitterverse exploded with dissatisfaction for the artificial grind. I hope developers can realize customers don't enjoy spending countless hours (or real money) for [i]minimal[/i] materials and content.

The only thing that would stop something like this from the get go is a complete boycott. Which will never happen. Ever.

They are fully aware. When it comes to money, the mentality is do now and ask for forgiveness later. They do not care about your experience, they care about making money. For their lives. Not all developers, but a lot of the “big” ones.
