If they can't get bugs to happen in their testing area maybe they should rethink their setup.

Its actually quite rare, champion.

This is what I've been saying since Destiny was launched. It seems as if they don't have a QA group/test setup at all based on some of the issues we've encountered over the years. Actual play testing would bring most of these things out. It's the same deal with most AAA studios. They release games, and/or, updates where there are glaring issues (cough Anthem cough) and then don't understand why there's such outrage from the player base.

It's the curse of the stock market and investors. Hitting your date is far more crucial than getting it perfect. Stockholders pull out and the stock price tanks. Nobody in the market gives a damn if little Bobby can't shoot aliens because his gun doesn't work.

I agree. Its a sad state we live in these days when the big wigs prioritize profit over quality and totally disregarding the people providing them profit.

To be honest, the Whisper bug isn't hard to replicate at all, so I'm a little surprised that the response to the other thread (which now seems to have been deleted...) was for the players to provide video evidence.

Edited by Kanashimi510: 3/21/2019 3:43:32 PMThey often ask for a video on easy 100% reproducible bugs. Things that just "are" and take no special steps to reproduce. For instance, when the special yellow bar enemy (not the boss, but the roaming yellow bar) at the end of the hive ritual public event on Mars wouldn't drop it's rewards. There was a time early on when it never dropped anything, ever, and they needed a video of that for some reason.

That's what I was getting at. Either they don't have the playtest resources (people) or the environment needed to do it on their own. This has never been a "clean" game as far as bugs go, I understand things are complicated but they really don't seem to make it a priority to look at the game's history.
