I feel like bungie will literally rename them to "enhancement chores" before they remove them from infusion at this point.
Who in their right mind wants to feel like they're doing chores just to use their favourite gear? Especially if you go in to the Reckoning and get that fancy new Gambit Prime set which drops like 20 points below your power. (Unless you infuse it you'll be at a disadvantage in Prime)

Exactly. I already work full time. I don't need a 20-hour-per-week part time job that pays nothing. Anymore, I'm mostly done with PvE in the game. I play only what I feel like doing and say fvck the rest. If that means I don't level, then I don't level.

Totally agree with you there, if the contents not fun then i'm not going to keep playing it. It's like being at an all you can eat buffet where Gordon Ramsay is cooking for you personally, but being told you have to eat an entire loaf of mass produced store bought bread before you can enjoy this fine cuisine.
