Gunsmith should have Bounties too!
I feel he should have daily bounties that reward Mod Components and Gunsmith Materials. As well as one weekly bounty that rewards a "Powerful" weapon and several Enchanement cores.
I also feel they should bring back ammo synthesis and add it to his inventory.

They need some other type of mechanic with rewards like more types of patrols or something that you can just do for fun and not spend 30 minutes per day running around collecting and then doing specific tasks or game modes you don't want to do. Give banshee guns you have to go out wherever you want and level them up, then they turn into a decent random roll legendary or something, anything different than another bounty. Or as others have stated, maybe an item that you put on a gun or armor and when you fill up a number of kills, etc, it allows you to reroll a perk on it or something... anything...
