I have a person issue with fact that there aren't any work horse Primary weapon Exotics in the game. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to nuts power weapons for decimating bosses and ads with ease. Whisper for bridled boss damage over time and Anarchy, 1K, and Thunderlord for Viable mixes of boss damage and ad clearing potential. You even get things like Tractor Cannon for melting, Acrius is getting a Buff and it's already decent for burst damage, and sleeper is a nice baseline but it does get outclassed mostly. You even get pretty good weapons for you specials with stuff like Merciless and Coldheart which are both amazing for boss damage, Izanagi's which is insane for burst damage, And Jotunn or Telesto for ad clearing. Al around not as powerful as the Heavy weapons, obviously, but still viable to use because you can get good heavy legendaries to match with them. My personal issue is with the lack of verity and versatility of work horse PvE exotic Primaries. We do get weapons like Huckleberry which is a slaying machine when used right, buts it's a sub-machine gun and is fun but ultimately limited in it's uses. I have the same issues with Riskrunner, it's fun and generally very good but is lacking powerful something that Zhalo had and just isn't worth taking over other weapons. I do think Crimson is a fitting replacement for Red Death though I feel like the distinction is meaningless at this point because with the catalyst they are practically the same since range isn't an issue anymore. While I never personally played with Outbreak Prime, I can imagine from stories I've heard that it was amazing. Finally my own personally baby, I want the Bad Juju back so freaking badly, Rampage with Super regeneration is exactly what i want from a primary, which is why i really like Breakneck but why couldn't we get a more powerful version in a new Bad Juju? To finish off I have to say I thoroughly disappointed that the only two returning Exotics we know of so far are both Primarily PvP exotics. I have a unabashed hatred for PvP in these games so i have a bias for sure but is it to much to ask for some High Power exotics focused on PvE for awhile, especially since the next season is focused on a Primarily ad clearing activity.
