Everyone is frustrated when their teammate leaves, and everyone is frustrated when they get punished for leaving unwinnable games or for being kicked from games. What we need to do is look at *why* people quit matches.
Simply, it's because they feel a lost match isn't worth their time. And to be honest, they're right. A loss is a *waste of time.* You gain barely anything for losing a match, and you gain very little for even *winning* a match. All there is in terms of rewards are iron banner weapons (half of which are lackluster and only some of which have any value, and don't even get me started on PvE utility, or lack thereof) and the 0.0000001% exotic drop chance.
In order to keep people from quitting, they need to feel like they could get something cool, even if they lose. I'd say up the reward chances for all PvP weapons and exotics, and make iron banner weapons more exciting, by greatly expanding the perk pool for all the weapons and giving them a more unique look. And make the loot pools, if not the same for both the winning and losing team, *good* for both the winning and losing team.
