Well, it looks like players unhappy with waves splitters while luna’s and note forgotten are totally fine?! No need to nerf them at all?! Waves and telesto are basically one and only countermeasures agains players with luna’s in TTK, why do not you nerf them as well or give us another guns with TTK at lest of 0.7 and almost same recoil? Give us because in Comp there are 90% of players with Luna’s grinding NF...
-
High impact pulses have the same TTK as Luna High impact are are also close
-
Because you actually need to aim to kill quick with Luna’s and not forgotten and they are probably the hardest weapons to get in the game
-
Why can't you counter handcannons? Just stay out of their effective range or close the distance and use a shotgun. There are numerous effective ways to counter Luna and Not Forgotten
-
Wavesplitter And Telesto were genuinely broken and not performing inside of Bungies limitations for those weapons/archetypes. Luna’s and Not Forgotten are operating how Bungie intended. HOWEVER, Luna’s and NF should NEVER have been designed the way they are because the intrinsic perk LITERALLY allows a player to kill in one shot less than the archetype normally does, and sometimes even TWO shots making it the single lowest TTK weapon in the archetype and of primaries in general. No primary weapon can compete with that so people HAVE to resort to special weapons which I think is -blam!-. And Bungie CANT nerf Luna’s and NF because of the massive outcry from the crutches that fought to get it. Bungie unleashed pure cancer by making those weapons and now they can’t fix it.

Have you used Luna's or NF? You have to hit all precision shots otherwise it's worthless, not to mention you have to grind to get them in the first place. Wavesplitter you literally just aim and hold the button down and they die in 1 second.
-
If they are your only countermeasures then you need to up your game.
-
Bungie logic of PvP Balance is already broken. Instead of buffing other weapons so they can compete with Luna/NF they just keep nerfing. How the hell new players that just bought D2 this season can survive comp? Comp is full of Luna now and I already predict this since last season. Players that havent got Luna will get stomped hard in comp this season.
-
lunas and not forgotten should be as they are its a mad grind for them wavesplitter and telesto are rng exotics with no actual grind
-
Wavesplitter is out of control. And my Luna’s howl that I grinded comp for is now useless because shitters like you with good RNG have the best weapon in PVP that’s in the wrong weapon slot with the fastest TTK that can be constantly reloaded. Kids like you load up the game and then stick your primary in your back pocket because your gunskill Is so minimal that you have no other choice BUT to use wavesplitter. If you can’t get Luna’s howl because you’re a solo player, hit the LFG, make some friends, and get the weapon. But don’t even try and say that wavesplitter is a counter to Luna’s and NF because it’s not. It’s a far superior weapon

Edited by coreoYEAH: 1/21/2019 1:54:23 AMLuna and NF don’t need a nerf, everything else just needs an adjustment to become viable again. Let the people who earnt them keep the prestige of that achievement while not dominating the field with weapons alone

Edited by ELRaSun: 1/21/2019 3:28:23 AMThe real issue is matchmaking, I think. I’m still trying to figure out how the number of players with those handcannons is only single digit %, yet every single match is dominated with Luna’s Howl and Dust Rock Blues. It seems like there should be a much larger diversity. DT shows Ace of Spade and Luna’s Howl should only make up 14% of the meta. Not Forgotten probably another 2 or 3%. So lets say 17%... but the frequency of matches, even for someone who doesn’t even play PvP that much is WAY higher than that. My guess is part of it is players that play in stacks are more likely to have it. And it seems like the game has trouble prioritizing, mainly due to 4, 5, and 6 stacks. 2 or 3 stacks are much easier to balance out. So, often you end up sandwiched between two mid size stacks (3 or 4) or a bunch of randoms against a 5 or 6 stack. And in this scenario its much more likely to be super meta. The game can’t properly account for fireteam size, connection AND skill level all at once
-
If they are nerfing telesto, then Luna’s needs the same!!!
-
It's funny I bust it out only when I'm getting 4 stacked...and it's only just to piss off the try hards. PVP is still broken..if I'm going to get wrecked by the super stacked teams I might as well have fun
-
I think Luna and Not Forgotten needs a nerf, or there should be a way to obtain them as a solo player
-
Agreed 100% dude. How they justify nerfing one cancer and don't nerf lunas and nf is beyond me.
-
Wavesplitter should have the same TTK as coldheart , period
-
Maybe read the TWAB. They are getting a nerf.
-
I think they said something about not wanting to nerf pinnacle weapons
-
Pvp players are all turd buckets dude, no matter what weapon they’re using. They can’t perform day to day functions, but they sure know how to pull off a 3 tap in mid air while hitting a dab on an eco scooter
-
Lunas its a skilled required to obtain it, teleste and wavesplitter in the other hamd its a normal drop that doesnt mean you have to do more than 300 kills with hand cannons in competitive while a 100 of them need to be precision
-
I'll bet my left nut OP does not have a Luna....
-
salty cos faulty
-
And it's an exotic, lol.
-
Because wave splitter and telesto aren’t just counters to Luna/nf but also everything else in the game. But Luna/nf do need to be addressed.

I saw an $800 Not Forgotten carry on eBay yesterday. Made me cringe at the thought that people would spend money on it. Crucible isn't my thing but thats ridiculous.
