So I kinda hate the way ghost shells and perks are done. Getting a nice looking shell is great until it rolls with a mercury detector and telemetry drops. I think all shells should be a cosmetic option, and perks should be something we earn that are permanent bonuses to our ghost. For instance, EDZ xp buff could be earned by doing flashpoints in the EDZ. The cache/resource finders could be earned by collecting so many of each resource. And maybe start them at a smaller detecting range, and as we level up the perk, the range that we could find materials could extend. Hell, make the Gunsmith Telemetries actually matter (like using them as a way to reroll guns/armor/masterwork stats), and as we got kills with different damage types, we could increase our chances of getting those to drop. That would limit the amount of ghost shells I end up sharding for being useless, and give us something else to do.
