Mayhem is hecking fun
I’m having fun, sue me.
Edit: The rest of crucible is BS tho. Seriously. Does anyone play test anything?
Edit 2: Never mind. Fück crucible. “Takes skill” my ass. I am genuinely convinced that crucible is developed by apes who spend their free time banging rocks together. The same four weapons annihilate everything. The same two supers render everything else irrelevant. Matchmaking is a joke. Exotics tied behind RNG are often the difference between winning and losing a game. And worst of all, the community won’t acknowledge half of the issues and respond to any genuine criticism with “git gud”.
TLDR;
Crucible is shit, I’m not going near that cesspool again any time soon.

Its not NEARLY as fun as it was last year. Why? You ask? 2 words Blade barrage. Last years novabomb glitch spam was a hell of a lot more fun than this shit

Let me guess blade barrage? All the pve player love mayhem, takes zero skill and zero thoughts about engagements. I played 3 matches yesterday and all i saw was BB. People waiting at spawn for super to be ready then they go use super, die and rinse and repeat. Ohh what fun lol. Brainless stupid game mode for the 1.0 kd crowd.

Honestly mayhem has always been super fun. It's also - if you're not great at regular crucible - a great place to farm any ability kills/quests you may have. also, anyone doing the dawning going for recipes, or farming for the sled-sparrow upgrade - a mayhem match is less than 5 minutes and will net you 11 essence of dawnings [i]for a loss[/i]

I just played it to unlock the rest of my subclasses. Finished my hunter and did banner shield for my titan. Went very quickly in mayhem.

Mayhem is the only crucible ill play thats not for milestones. They are quick matches and good fun.

I dread having to go through Crucible to get my weekly rewards because it's just an hour of getting farmed by brainlet Titans running around with full clans, Luna's Howl, OEM, shotguns, or all four and I absolutely [i]will not[/i] lower myself to abusing the same cookie cutter anti-fun loadouts just to make playing Crucible slightly more bearable. Bungie has a history of genuinely good multiplayer games that everyone and their mother loved, but yet here we are with the unenjoyable mess that is Crucible, where no one gets to play and enjoy the game unless they abuse matchmaking by bringing in a full team on top of abusing the absurdly low times to kill with brainless low skill, low risk/high reward weapons and it's just sad the PvP is essentially run by youtubers and streamers who dictate the meta and prevent real balance from happening because people want to see flashy one shot montages, and people will defend these problems and outright attack anyone who opposes because they parrot what their favorite content creator says and thinks about the state of the game. Mayhem however is actually quite fun which is a nice change of pace considering normal PvP is just a bad time all around, the only problem is full teams of Hunters abusing BB+Shards

I prefer the feel of D1 mayhem more. There was more variety; a lot more use of grenades, melees, and heavy. Now it just seems it’s constant supers...use your super, kill a guy or two, die to a super while yours recharged for five seconds, use your super. It’s meh for me.

Yeah, I am a hunter, I have played against hunters especially [i]Blade Barrage[/i] and what they annoy me the most is that they have a really strong [b][i]Hyper Armor[/i][/b] when they use their supers, if they could lessen that armor a bit it would be great, there have been times in which I had hit them with my supers your to end up dead and they with 2% of their health. I have tried using the Machine guns/Thunderlord against roaming supers, and I feel like I am just throwing pebbles at them, why is that? In D1 you have a much better fighting chance against roaming super than you do in D2.

Crucible is shit. Keep spawning next to dudes in super is stupid and poor game design. On the other hand, I enjoy mayhem way more than the gangbang of regular crucible.

I thought this was gonna be a nice post about how fun mayhem is but then you go on a tangent about how bad regular pvp is. Yes the same 10 weapons and supers kill you, that’s called a meta. Few of them are pinnacle weapons, designed for pvp itself. The rest are easy to get as it stands. And I know you’re referring to Luna’s howl but honestly I’ve gotten the weapon myself and it’s not the god given game changer people make it out to be. You have to hit headshots for magnificent howl to be good and very rarely do you end up getting multiple kills if one of the enemies has a bygones. Yes bygones is better than Luna’s with any perk and is easier to obtain. And the forum community I’ve noticed is very toxic. Tons of 100+ upvoted posts call for nerfherding and changes more geared towards casuals. Some posts are justified but I really don’t think your statement about the community as a whole saying Git Gud is relevant.
