For the last 5 consecutive weeks, I've bought the fated exotic engram from Xur and received an exotic I already own. I main a hunter and there are still quite a few exotics missing from my collection. I've been trying to get shards of galanor or the two-tailed fox, but no luck. So I'm thinking that either I don't fully understand the fated engram and maybe it only drops yr 1 exotics (I have all of those and that'd definitely explain the duplicates), or my rng is broken and xur just hates me. Which is fine cuz at this point I hate Ol tentacle-face too! I wouldn't even really care except for the fact that I've now wasted 500 out of the 700 legendary shards that I own, and my exotic drop rate in normal world activities is almost non-existent, so that was my one guaranteed exotic per week. Am I confused or is my rng broken? Help!
