I had a relatively, well, bat-blam!- kind of Gamemode for Destiny.

So, had this idea pop into my head while I was trying to sleep so if it sucks, bear with me here. Now, the gamemode I was thinking off is something akin to Warfronts from WoW and Warzone in Hall, but with it’s own kind of twist. The Mechanics 4-6 players will spawn on an AI controller Team (for the purpose of simplicity, let’s go with Fallen for now) and their goal is to take back buildings and zones to grow their territory. However, another team of 4-6 players will be doing the same IF (and I can’t stress the IF hard enough), IF you choose that game type. PVPVE as they say. Anyhoo, so you spawn in a central building and help and AI boss clear it out of attackers (could be Vex, Hive, Fallen, etc). Once the building is clear, you can begin the fight. There will be 5 buildings spread out throughout the map, and once you arrive at one and clear out the ADs, you can start to take control. These buildings will give you certain benefits, like training units to assault the Enemy Base, or Vehicles for you to drive. Or, you can build offensive type of buildings that are useful when assaulting other mini bases. Such as a mega turret which fires and damages enemies but not too. Once you gain access to 3-5 buildings, the main assault begins. Your Teams AI will start attacking the main Enemy Base, but the Enemy can do the same to you! The Bosses Once you breach the gates, you must kill their leader. I’ve got a few names picked out for kinds of boss fights. Vordium (fallen): Melee based Boss which spreads electric goo all over the floor which slows and damages you. Keringos (Vex) Summons shielding Minotaurs which shield him all while still doing his main attacks. Valus Goran: Created localized siege towers and turrets which rain hell on you. I’ll need more boss ideas if this gets popular. Difficulties Normal: The power level scales to yours, most enemies are Red Bar, but they are in large numbers. Victory is yours should you work hard. Gives moderately good loot. Hard: More Orange Bar enemies instead of red health bar. Power level is 20 above your current one. Gives good loot. Ultra hard: More yellow bars than Orange and Red Bars. Enemies capture objectives faster. 40 power level above you. Gives very good loot. Nightmare: Every Enemy is a Yellow or Orange Bar. Victory is only won through sheer determination and insanity. 50 Power above your current level. Bring your best guns. Gives insanely good loot. PVP: This is for those who are crucible nerds. There will be an enemy team of 4-6 players, but all AI is red to Orange bars. Protecting your Boss is essential as well as attacking theirs. Victory is won through strategy and overwhelming force. And that’s all I got. Let me know if this is in the levels of batshit, or levels of good.
