It's great, no doubt about that. My only gripe with it is it doesn't do enough damage in PvP. Like, only 41 on a crit? For an HMG? Really?

Maybe you re trolling, but F#&k PVP.
-
I'm not, but agreed. PvP is pretty trashy. Not sure what that has to do with my comment on thunderlord though lol.
-
Dude it shoots so damn fast and has a ridiculous TTK, even body shots. PvP is not even the gun’s strong suit and it’s totally fine there
-
Yes, but it's also a power weapon, and for a power weapon, no less a heavy machine gun it should do closer to 48-50 damage on a headshot. Then you could bring down the ammo you get from heavy spawn to 30 rounds or so.
-
The TTK is still really fast, I think 0.8 seconds for body shots only, and 0.5 seconds if you land all crits. Plus you get 51 shots lol
-
In another reply to someone else I suggested bringing the ammo down in favor of increasing damage
-
Mathematically it equals 14 kills if you land all headshots and don’t miss a shot... what more do you want!? Lol
-
That requires you to land all shots as criticals which means you'd have to have insane aim because the flinch on that thing is wild.
-
Burst your shots and know your optimal range so you’re not all over the place...
-
It's still hard to land the shots because of the flinch. And when the ttk is as fast as it is, burst firing with an MG isn't ideal. At least in my experience, though I think I just have to play with it longer to get a better handle on it.
-
To be fair I don’t have it nor do I really play that game... I’m just going off of D1. It’s ttk is still pretty fast when landing body shots so if control is the big issue at range; aim for the body and the kick should give you a head shot here and there. Of course up close just aim for the head. HMG weapons in D1 were always my go too mostly because they had a few that could 2 tap and 3 tap
-
Oh yeah the flinch is different from D1. Hmg's were my go to heavy weapon as well.
-
Jolders hammer was OP!!
-
But it has so much ammo lol You have like 7 or 8 kills worth of ammo and thats accounting for missing some shots.

Edited by Shattered Mind: 11/14/2018 7:05:47 PMYeah, that's why I'm not that bothered, but I'm just saying. If they were to retune it, an ideal buff would be to increase PvP damage but reduce ammo. Maybe close to 40 or 45 bullets. That way you can still retain the kill potential and not make it op
-
Still if they increased damage you would still probably only lose one potential kill. I say each ammo crate should drop 30 and leave it's damage the same in PvP. This way you're looking at more like 4-5 kills with some slight room for error.
