Speaking of this thing...
Does anyone know how high this thing drops on a sub 600 light level characte? Is it like normal Powerful gear at like 1-3 light levels higher than your average equipped? Or like Dreaming City at 5+?
Only reason I haven't gone for it is because my Titan is at 590 and as badly as I want it, I don't want to have to give up a 600 for it

Dropped 600 for me and holly shit it melts yellow bars.

I was capable of hitting 599. It dropped at 599... not what I was expecting when it said "a very powerful reward is waiting" when I logged in that day.

my 600 warlock dropped at 600 my 580 hunter it dropped at 580

don't wait too long though, the quest goes away at the end of the month. after that it'll be a random drop

I have a 600 level character and it dropped at 600. Its supposed to drop like an exotic in the world 5-10 above your total max light

Mine dropped at 599 - all my primes and powerful engrams drop at 600 and I’m a chest piece away from 600. So... I guess it drops at your max light level. At least it did for me. Kinda pissed it didn’t drop at 600.

597 for me, so I think you are correct. MAX light level.

For me it dropped at my max LL. I was 597 and I got it at 597.

It drops at your light level so it will be at 590 for your titan

It's a "powerful" drop, so whatever prime engrams drop at for you is what it'll be.

I too would like to know this. Bungie did state in the TWAB it will be a powerful drop, but we’ve trusted bungie before and look what happened.
