Thanks for your post. As a new Guardian (i'm in the middle of the Forsaken campaign) i encountered a lot of nice people out there. Honestly, as a new player, its VERY hard to understand all the hate Destiny gets. The music, the story, the graphics, the gameplay, everything is so cool.

 • The reason you don't understand is because you are new.

 • Edge transit is a legendary grenade launcher which dropped far to much at the start of forsaken. This game doesn't deserve the hate it gets you're right and I think alot of people jump of the hate destiny bang wagon because they think its cool. Glad to see your enjoying the game and yes there are decent players out there but my god there are far too many toxic elite dickheads that play this game. In my opinion it's the players that ruin this game not the company itself with there cocky elitist shitty attitudes. Sad really as they don't seem to realise having a certain exotic weapon which they grind probably 24hours for doesn't actually improve there real life's.

 • But the company invites and cultivates elitism. The ability to t-bag. Insulting emotes. Who did what damage at a boss encounter. K/D posted for all to see. Now I know there are plenty of reasons those things are there. And a person didn’t become a jerk overnight they always were. But when you make it easier for someone to be a jerk they will exploit it. So yes it is actually the developers fault at least in part.

 • I agree. I mean, teabagging pretty much became a thing because of Halo, and there is still an animated forum icon of a 'victory crouch' so clearly they don't feel too bad about starting something that toxic players enjoy doing to humiliate their opponents. If Bungie wanted a more friendly game environment, they might try adding more complimentary emotes rather than taunting ones.

 • I do agree with you. It's all there for a reason just not the ones people use it for.

 • I dont know what an Edge Transit is. Again, i understand the frustations that a hardcore player encounters. Not everything is bright in the end game, but man, i dont think this game deserves all the hate it gets.

 •
I dont know what an Edge Transit is
This.... this ..... this explains.... so much. i don't hate the game, i like it, it kills the time, that and eating a whole wheel of cheese. then drinking it down with a hot glass of milk. then spending 5 hours punching myself in the intestine to make it stop. it hurts so much. but i love cheese. wait im off topic, so i was telling you about this edge transit right.... see what happened was, one day, long long long time ago. there was a mamma transit and a papa transit, and they had 1348735737534754 millions babies and they are all over the FKN place!

 • I think it's funny because Edge Transit isn't even a bad gun, especially with decent rolls. But the sheer number that _everyone_ seems to get just shows how terrible their pseudo-RNG is. I get a lot of Go Figures too, but I can't complain about that one because I'm still looking for a Saganroll Go Figures. :P But I do get an inordinate number of them, more than is statistically likely even with D2's tiny loot pool. Whereas at this point I'm now dismantling even amazing rolls on Edge Transit because I just don't have room in my vault to keep all the great rolls, and at most I only need three of any roll, one for each character, or even just one if I could be bothered using the app to shuffle it around to various characters. Now if they would just put in a shooting range that pops up while you're in transit to the next Crucible match (like what CoD: WWII has), I wouldn't need to keep all these different rolls because I'd know which perks are good and worth keeping, and which ones are not, without having to keep them all and then find the time to test them all in Crucible to see which ones I like.

 • Sad thing is, I have to agree with you. I was lucky enough, very fortunate enough to pick up a G-Roll Go Figure very early in the game, I think it was the first Purple I got in Forsaken, and I have had it ever since. I kinda been transferring and upgrading it between characters. infusing to make it more powerful every time I get a +10 drop on it. Outlaw + Rampage, with Major Spec Mod, Tier 5 Now I think, Stability MW Perk. my Trust is not to bad either, Outlaw + EP Master worked for Reload Speed, would have loved range on it. Rampage on the ET is not bad. my Favorite GL is the Iron Banner one. I just cant put it down
