thousand voices needs a nerf. change my mind.
Yes, I know its a raid weapon, yes I know it has the lowest drop rate, but it is ridiculously overpowered. It is the same as prometheus lens when it first came out. In fact I am certain that it kills you quicker. My gambit fireteam, 4 people from my clan ran into a clan using it in gambit. All 4 players had the gun, and it was hell. People say I should feel honored to be killed by it. It's not an honor, its an infuriating weapon to die at the hands of. The raiders, and all players deserve a good piece of loot to chase, I totally and wholeheartedly agree with everyone on that. But a weapon that drives people away, that ruins the game, isn't the answer. I dont have the gun, probably won't ever have it (because rng hates me) but that doesnt mean I cant have an opinion. I want to hear from the players who have it. The people who get to play on easy mode when they invade, the people who think that it is a balanced gun. Hate me, downvote me, I am sure this post will get all the butthurtness that the bungie forums can offer. But maybe it won't, and we can have a civilized discussion. Thank you for your time

It's a really good exotic, but for crucible there are more safe exotics to use.

I disagree that it needs a nerf. It takes so long to charge and shoot that you basically need to start charging at the very beginning of a round to have it ready to fire by the time your primeval is spawning lol And besides, people that are good with Queensbreakers Bow or Crooked Fang will beat you nearly everytime they see you before you've even got a shot off with your 1000 voices.

3 RepliesNo it doesn't need to be nerfed. Why nerf something that people have put in the time to grind for this weapon and on top of that it has a low drop rate,and i have yet to do the raid since red dead redemption 2 takes up most of my time.

i dont think it needs a nerf if you own one you know the charge time is 1000 it takes forever to shiit that thing yes it does kill very well and can wipe a team but you have to be careful using it, the charge time is hideous!

1 ReplyIf anything It needs a buff. Plus it’s not at all like Prometheus. Prometheus you could use it at the start and there you go. 1K voices is a heavy weapon.
