Getting decimated in Iron Banner
I've been dying laughing in Iron Banner. Every match is a mercy. Some guy who is 485 on my team has no caps and a .11 KDA. Luckily none of the bounties are based on wins....sarcasm. All you can do is laugh.
Edit: I'm not complaining. I am enjoying IB.

Yesterday, I was working off the last of my IB bounties as solo player and got dropped into 3 games in a row just to hear Shaxx say "I'm calling it". A couple of games later, I start a game 6v6, head to B with a couple of other players from my team and my team members literally vanish in front of me and all the blue dots on the radar disappear. I pull up the roster to find that I really am playing solo. RTO. This kind of stuff went on a lot yesterday. It was funny, but frustrating as I was trying to complete Shine On bounty, but was never in a match long enough to get my super up. OTOH, somewhere in the middle of all this, my Valor win streak got to 5 and never reset. This glitch on top of this week's Valor buff allowed me to get thru 5 ranks in about 90 minutes before I had to log off.

I'm only doing iron banner for loot. I hate the bounties that require you to win. With sweaties every game its impossible to win because idiot teammates wont capture zones.

IB is so broken right now that you’re only opening yourself up to frustration by putting up with the BS. Don’t play it. Hopefully if enough of you wake up and take this advice Bungie might actually consider implementing some QoL improvements in the overall GAMEPLAY. You’ll notice I said gameplay. Bungie reduced all the bounties making it easier to get powerful gear to try and keep you playing. Lag, piss poor matchmaking, flag-lockout, are 3 overall gameplay issues that need to be fixed. We all know lag and matchmaking can’t be. That only leaves flag lockout. Not enough to bring me back. What’s your excuse for still playing? Brain dead is my best guess.

I don't mind power advantages but it seems Overkill in D2, D1 you could still complete being 30 light under, I'm 566 and get rekt by anyone over 580, even if I hit the first 1 or 2 crit hits!

I’m NOT good, but my kd has been over 1.5 this IB with one unbroken (12-0, we mercied them) and a few over 2-3 kd. My lifetime 1.0 kd calls that good! It’s all luck. I get more potato’s in Gambit these days, actually.

I just love the fact that The Rise of Iron Soundtrack is playing throughout the match. Plus once you get you’re light level up it isn’t really half bad.

1 ReplyIt took me two days, but I got 6 of the bounties done on my Warlock. The orbs bounty can suck my butt. Got a pretty good power bump finally.
