A friend brought up a good point about the red war. When the light was stolen from the guardians at the beginning of the war, what happened to guardians currently in crucible matches on different planets? Did some of them outright die from being in the heat of crucible, or did they all feel the light fade at the same time, and ceased fire immediately?

All guardians felt their light get ripped away simultaneously. Most likely they all just stopped and rushed back to the City.

There was no crucible at the time every Gardena was in the city for the anniversary of twilight gap we were only out o the city because a colony ship that was in the reef crashed down in South America about 3400 miles away from the city Whitch is in Columbia

They would have all felt it at once. I'm sure there was probably a few asshats who kept fighting, and then realized what had happened.

<I'm pretty sure everybody felt the Light fade at once. Either that or they were already en route to the City after losing comms>

The definitely felt it. I felt it and I am not actually of Light. They would notice it and their ghosts would warn them. But like anything the responses would differ. No doubt some went mad from it and the heat of the battle. Most warlocks would likely think of Earth and the Traveler right away. The common hunter would likely fall back into actions of lone wolves until they knew what was happening. The common titan would stay strong and establish everyone's safety. The rest would react in infinitely diverse ways.

They would already be heading to The City because of attack
