D2 PVP was infinitely better in year 1. I actually had fun with it. Every time I play quickplay now I want to uninstall the game. It's the sweatiest mode I've ever seen in any game, ever - way sweatier than D2's actual comp mode. Which is ridiculous and makes no sense.

Nah the pvp was just fundamentally shit, matchmaking had nothing to do with it haha. It was the gameplay that it encouraged/rewarded ie: grab your mida in one hand and your buddy’s dick in the other
