I've been playing gambit all night on xbox tonight, and the game is filled with nothing but people who don't want to play the game. Seriously, in the last 10 games tonight, I've been repeatedly put in teams of 3, teammates who seem to be deliberately dropping motes and dying, teammates who just camp by the portal and teammates who just quit if the special prime doesn't pop up. These fancy quests for exotics in matchmade games are breaking matchmaking because nobody in these playlists ACTUALLY wants to play the game mode, they are purely there for the quests. This game mode is supposed to be fun, but it's nothing but stressful with these types of people entering the games. Maybe stop making exotic and highly desirable gear only obtainable by doing mindless tasks in matchmade games, and maybe match people together who are in a similar tier... why you would match people new to gambit with people ranked mythic is beyond me... match the new players together, they can learn together or farm quests together... match people who play the game mode often with others who play often. i understand these quests are meant to draw people into trying game modes they wouldn't normally play, but at the same time you're driving away people who actually want to play these game modes but can't get a decent game. I'm just about ready to quit playing Gambit, because as i said, it's more stressful than fun.
