Tl;DR at bottom Below are 4 suggestions i have left for how to fix (maybe my favorate objective game type ever) Breakthrough. This game type is by no means perfect but hopefully it can be made better. Some people hate this game type so if you are one of those people please consider my suggestions and the ones in the comments before you completely disregard the gamemode entirely. If you have suggestions of your own leave them down below Please upvote this so we can get this thread seen and get a discussion going! If you like more than 1 idea leave the other choices in the comments 1. Allow players to spawn on any part of their half of the map (between spawn and heavy) along with that if possible make the spawns further during 1st objective and closer to the second. Obiously enemy location would need to determine this. 2. Let players spawn with 100% more special ammo and remove special ammo drops entirely. Special ammo is running wild in this mode and from what i gather its to be a competitive mode. 1 hit kills are nice to have but as we've seen too much of it will just almost deny you the ability to not use special. You're almost forced to use special because if you dont you are automatically at a disadvantage. (Personally i run 2 primarys bow and pulse rifle) 3. Allow 1 revive token per spawn/respawn. Remove token after being revived. When you run a single lobby players almost dont care about their positioning blindly running in to get annihilated immediately (maybe this is a lower tier gameplay issue but it still wouldnt hurt people in the higher tiers may be would make fights even more engaging and encourage team playing. I dont think that everyone should huddle together but i think there is a lack of grouping up in non team lobbys. Also it would give you a little more of a chance to defend/attack the objective. 4. Instead of 1 point per round allow 1 point for capping the 1st objective and another for either hacking or defending the vault. Just to encourage people to try to get the first and second point. Then maybe make the score cap and have ties give 1 point each so the game progresses. TL;DR 1. a suggestion for how to fix spawns 2. double special ammo at spawn but remove drops 3. 1 revive per non respawned life 4. 2 possible points per round with 5 point cap. Ties end in 1 point each Leave your thoughts and ideas below! Please upvote!

  • I personally think all should be implemented. Oviously a change like that doesnt happen overnight but maybe with enough voices we can get them heard
