sherlocks second case. Out of character space will explain in comments
They have a power play, you need tot take the zones!” Yelled the voice of lord shaxxs. I was at the crucible playing control. Of course I decided to bring my friend mr. Sherlock Holmes to the crucible. While the rest of us where taking zone c the warlock was just starring at a nearby bookshelf.
“What are you doing Sherlock!” I called to the warlock.
“A book on this shelf isn’t perfectly balanced. The mass isn’t right I’m balancing it” he casually replied.
“They are coming any moment!” I yelled to Sherlock. He just walked over to the bookshelf. Suddenly the enemy team came at us in full force, we tried to fight back but there was five of us actually paying attention and the enemy’s where lead by a hammer of sol.
“Sherlo....” I started to say but then a flaming hammer of death slammed into me and I was sent down. I could only watch from my ghost as the enemy team surrounded my warlock friend.
“Prepare to die because your fired!” Came a rough low voice of a titan.
“You guardians are so annoying” Sherlock said, balancing the book on the shelf. The hammer thrower pulled the hammer backwards, about to throw as Sherlock turned around a beams of arc in his hand. The arc energy was compressed into a single beam, ripping through almost all the entire enemy team.
“Now was that hard?”Sherlock said to the last of the enemy’s.
After the crucible match (which we lost 125 to 87) I met with Sherlock.
“What the heck was that!?” I asked Sherlock.
“A book was unbalanced so I balanced it” he replied.
“No. I’m talking about that arc beam. What was that.”
“Watson light is not what it seems. Light is bendable and can be controlled. The vanguard might be having visions and I meditated in these visions.” Sherlock explained.
“Do these meditations require smuggled worm-spore?” I asked.
“Well it does help open your mind” Sherlock said
“Why aren’t you in the vanguard of your so smart?”
“Because the vanguard are boring. I don’t want to stand there like a vending machine.”
“Do we need a Sherlock dare?”
“Maybe but I can’t see a dare I will lose. Watson I need you to meet me at Baker Street at twelve this night ready and prepared to leave. Bring a weapon” Sherlock said and begin walking away.
“Where are you going” i asked.
“I have errands to run” he replied before vanishing into the crowd in the tower.
The sky was filed with stars in this particularly bright night. I was standing outside of our house in Baker Street, dressed in old armor. It was twelve and I was still waiting for Sherlock. Crown splitter strapped onto my back and a hand cannon on my side.
“There you are Watson. Ready to leave?” Came the voice of Sherlock Holmes. Unlike me he was dressed in a trench coat. A energy pistol on his hip and a strange sword, handmade by Sherlock, hidden in a cane. He was also wearing a grey deerstalker hat.
“I am ready Sherlock but you never explained where we are going.” I said.
“Back to mars. Where that crucible match was.” Sherlock replied
“Why, you mad we lost. You weren’t really doing anything” I said
“Making the book balanced on a bookshelf, you honestly believe that. No I saw a crack in the shelf with light coming out. If the shelve was on a wall there would be no crack. I checked to see if it was hallow and it was. The only reason i didn’t see what’s behind is because of the pesky little guardians around.” Sherlock explained.
“How are we going to get passed the security. Shaxxs redjacks are all over the place” I said. Sherlock just pulled out a security card from his pocket. My face looked shocked.
“Where did you get that!” I asked in shock.
“I pick pocketed shaxxs when getting him coffee. Let’s go Watson” Sherlock said and he began walking into his spaceship. I followed. The two of us where heading to Mars.
The red sand was seen as we approached the desert of mars. We where towards the top of the planets so the ice caps where visible. Redjacks crawled all over the land but we where able to get past them when Sherlock showed the stolen ID card. The two of us arrived at the mysterious bookcase. It was made out of black wood, with random books strewn across.
“Watson, help me move this out of the way” Sherlock said. The two of us lifted up the bookshelf and moved it out of the was. Sherlock’s theory was confirmed, there was a secret passage. Dark and cramped there was a tunnel.
“Shall we?” Sherlock asked.
“Definitely” I said grabbing my hand cannon off my waist. Sherlock’s ghost emitted a bright light emitted from Sherlock’s dark black ghost shell. The two of us descended into the dark tunnels, only the glow of the ghost lighting the way.
“Do you think this might be hive?”I asked.
“Hive don’t hide tunnels behind a bookshelf” Sherlock responder
“Maybe shaxx cleared the hive out” I suggested
“And hide the tunnel behind a bookshelf? Not likely.” Sherlock responded. The tunnel suddenly ended and opened up into a small cave. The dripping of water was echoing throughout the cave. A broken cage was on one of the wall. Books and possessions where scattered all over the place. Standing in the center was a hulking figure. A sword strapped to his back and three eyes glowing in the darkness. When the light of the ghost shined on the figure my theory was confirmed. It was a hive knight. The knight shot its hive boomer, aiming the projectile so it would land in between me and Sherlock. I thew myself against the side of the cave to dodge, and Sherlock rolled forward stabbing the blade of his sword cane into the knights foot. The knight howled in pain as the blade stabbed into a weak spot in its armor. I pulled out my hand cannon, and shot at the left part of the knights chest. It stumbled backwards, and Sherlock took a step forward, bringing his sword arm up and jabbing at the new hole in the knights armor. He turned to face me and said “See Watson, precision is key.” The knight used this opportunity to swing his gun vertically, hitting Sherlock in the shoulder and sending him to the ground with a thud. I shot the knight in the head, and it’s attention turned to me. It started to step over Sherlock’s body, when the warlock stabbed the cane in the knights foot. He got up and put the hand cannon to the knights head, pulling the trigger once, finishing the job.
“I thought you said it wasn’t hive” I said looking at the knight.
“It isn’t. Look at the wall. The cage is ripped open, Likely by the knight itself. Look at the body your a doctor.” Sherlock said.
“Not a hive doctor!” I exclaimed.
“It’s a little challenge that’s all. Look at its injury’s. Except for the ones we inflicted of course.” Sherlock told me. I crouched down next to the knight, studying it. It was indeed injured besides our own attacked. Deep cuts ran down its body.
“Sherlock, look at these cuts. It’s like someone was extracting something from it” i said
“Very good doctor Watson. I knew you would be useful.” Sherlock said while looking over the room.
“Now what where they extracting? I can tell that someone left here in a hurry and probably left something here to. Most of these picture and tablets appear to be in a hive language. But they appear to be blueprints. Ah and what is this!” Sherlock said moving things out of the way and picking up a strange white skull. It was about the size of the awoken’s head but it was definitely not human
“Interesting” Sherlock said while tucking the skull underneath his arm. “We should get going.” Sherlock said. The two of us boarded our spaceship and headed back to the tower. During the trip back I tried to relax but that conflict with the night only brought back bad memories of fighting on titan without my light.
When we arrived at Baker Street panic struck me. Our door was unlocked and someone was in our flat. The two of us walked in to find a warlock sitting in one of our chairs. He was a awoken male with dark hair and pale skin, almost like Sherlock’s but his hair was neat and straight.
“Greetings brother of mine. I have a case for you.” the mysterious figure said.
“I told you mycroft I’m not interested in your vanguard politics.” Sherlock replied.
“Who’s this?” I asked.
“Watson it’s my brother mycroft. Mycroft this is...” Sherlock started
“John Watson I know.” Said mycroft.
“How?”
“I work for the vanguard”
“He basically is the vanguard. What do you want” Sherlock said
“A Fireteam was killed outside of the tower. Vanguard operatives” mycroft said.
“Not interested. Go away.”
“I’ll be outside waiting” Mycroft said getting up and leaving.
“Brilliant! A fireteam killed right in front of the tower. Get your coat Watson, the game is on!”

So Sherlock Holmes was the first Warlock to do that thing with the lightning thing. Very Impressive, and that's coming from a Titan.
