The more you obtain the lower the chance to get what you don't have due to diluted loot pool. Forsaken Quest Exotics = Guaranteed item that drops from completing quest. However, it further dilutes the exotic loot pool, making it harder to obtain what you don't have. I got Wardiff Coil last night. After grinding Vanguard to rank 50 last season and not getting any, I was starting to doubt. I still maintain Crucible catalysts are a myth. I reset my valor last season and grinded up half again and got no drops. This season I just grinded out 30 ranks of Iron Banner and [i]still[/i] no Catalyst drops.
