I've been having this weird thing happen to me since The Go Fast Update. I equip a Sparrow, any Sparrow, and go riding around in a public space. If I use my boost the animation begins and I get the sound effects, but I don't seem to be going any faster. I thought this was odd and tried out a few different Sparrows. Some with 150 Speed but most with 160 Speed. Always seemed to be the same. Anyway, the other day I was telling some friends about it and they just thought I wasn't boosting or something. I told them "I've been playing since Day 1 of Destiny 1, I know how to boost in a Sparrow." So they watch and they see that I am definitely getting left in the dust, even when they are riding in the same Sparrow that I am using. So we tried an experiment. I rode with boost on and my buddy rode without boost, using the same Sparrow. He was riding at the same speed as me. So it seems that, for some reason, I am not getting any of the benefits of the boost in my Sparrows. I'm on PS4. Have you heard about anything like this?
