don't play a game marketed as a multiplayer solo.
you can matchmake in a way raids now the only thing as a solo player you are excuded from is Trials, if you mean you want to do all content as a solo player....how are you going to raid anyway?
Weird Arguement saying they punish solo players...Destiny has never catered to solo gameplay it never has and never will be that type of game, even if forsaken is better there will still be tons of stuff that will not be accesable totally solo so either accept that or move on, no hate just thats how it is :)

Destiny 1 had various solo options that had no impact on co op modes, something along with a host of other things that they forgot along the way

Lmao...the only thing you could not access and do solo in d1 was trials This is a multiplayer game not team, Overwatch is a team game, multiplayer, co op means just that. How you played/ play is not how everyone else does, I am not pushing for solo play to the exclusion of anyone else, just that more options be included, ala d1, where you had endgame level content for all modes solo and group Bungie has said Forsaken is going in that direction, and it's a welcome addition for the durability of the franchise. Just sayin, that's how it is going to be If you dont like it move on

you can access the raids in D2? and before you say you could solo them in D1...not without a revive warlock and I talk from experience I used to love trying to solo the raids but you have to glitch at some point (basically cheat) Bungie has tried to clear out all the glitching in D2 to some success not complete obviously but if we didnt try and do things that took advantage of the mechanics maybe the raids would not be what they are now Also Nightfalls can do them solo in D2 and can even matchmake..thats better than D1 surely? What other content is there?

Lol warlock was not the only way to solo raids in d1...by a long shot.. In d1 there were multiple endgame level caliber modes for all player subsets Why does more solo options, like d1 bother you so much? Why is the only way to play this game the way you feel it should be played. Why does having more options to play how and what you want to play, and still make progress offend you? In d1 Iron Banner leveling did not impact a raiders progress, Trials had no impact on those who preferred Nightfalls, what is it about multiple paths for solo and group play that bothers people so much? I have never understood the " it's a team game " mindset...nothing impacting another player should be of no consideration to another
