Bungie, that's how you do an exotic quest!
Apart from waiting hrs for the anomaly to spawn, this was so far the best thing to be released in D2. We definitely need more of this.
It was tough, secretly placed, a fun puzzle and got me to use a subclass I don't ever use. It had me cursing at the TV when I didn't get it but when I finally did, it was glorious.
This is the perfect type of stuff to add into the game. Good stuff Bungie!!

2 RepliesRaids used to have this feeling. Remember running VOG for Fatebringer , Vex and Gally ?? Running Atheon week after week for a chance at 1 or both exotics to melt Atheon the next week with?. That was the D1 y1 chase. Good ol times.

1 ReplyNot gonna whine and cry about timegating and difficulty levels even though i didn't manage to finish it, i'm not in a hurry. I think that every planet needs this kind of content, insanely brutal missions with awesome rewards.

15 RepliesYou guys have no sense of difficulty. Getting black spindle in Destiny 1 was difficult, getting it now is just a headache. In D1 you needed to wait for that mission to be that week, not die before you got to the BS area, clear out every taken mob plus the blights in the first 2 rooms, and finally the boss room had 6-8 blights that spawned mobs which you need to kill all the mobs, all of the blights, and the boss.

This was a fun quest and actually brought a ton of excitement to my clan . Was the most active I’ve seen a lot of players in quite a while . Was a fair test of skill also, hard the first few tries but got easier and easier with every run . Got it on my 4th or 5th try don’t remember but it was a blast to run thru w/ my buddies. Good job Bungie. Looking forward to more of this kinda stuff in Forsaken

2 RepliesYeah. too bad they still make so many mistakes. Like rng on public events and a two day time limit. Other than that I was impressed they actually made something they didn't force us to pay for.

I totally agree with this. The intrigue the event caused, the atmosphere of the area and the challenge matching the reward, are for me, the holy trinity of what has always made destiny great. This is the kind of thing I want to see more of.

And then they went and ruined it by having both of the Whisper's ornaments locked behind Eververse's paywall. Bungie finally puts something the community wants in this game, and they try to exploit it for money. Why am I not surprised?

11 RepliesCool quest but there shouldn’t be RNG in starting the mission. Take it out of random public events and let us start it whenever we want. Waiting around on Io for hours on end kinda kills the mood.

10 RepliesExactly.... hard, time consuming quest, not for everyone and with lot of rng. That's how exotics should be aquired. Having exotics and legendarys drop like nothing everyday without any effort killed this game in a first place. All this to make those special casual snowflakes happy.
