98 to 99 percent of gamers wont get raid catalyst or complete triumphs due to be placed in Prestige raids. We can thank twitch streamers and youtubers for that.crying to easy to easy.Cant believe Bungie is listening. to them.its easy for them to get the best players. If they dont have a full raid team they can just ask thier chat.i have only 1 raid clear in this game.its sad its come to this on d2.i did everything on d1.Ibet i have more time on this game than any twitch streamer.look me up on xbox1.

Please stop trying to ruin one of the best things of Destiny. Thanks

Mmmmmmmmmmm I’m skeptical of your “statistics”. But it is a real blimmin shame that catalysts for non-raid weapons are locked to a prestige raid.
-
I don’t plan on getting them because I have not enjoyed the raid in D2. That being said I am more or less okay with stuff being tied to the raid, I just wish it made more contextual sense. Acrius obviously and I can see the argument for Skyburner, but Sleeper is tied to Rasputin so maybe only dropping from EP would make sense. While I do understand the argument that the OP is trying to make and I do not entirely disagree. This game is built to cater to a wide range of gamers so unless you enjoy all the activities, it makes sense that some stuff will be out of reach. And at no point are you ever prevented from doing what it takes as long as you are willing to put in the appropriate effort.

and the 1 percent will buy carries on ebay :D

Try LFG

The real problem here isn't that the best items are for the toughest activities. It's that there are no good in-game tools for matchmaking. Or that the raids themselves are boring and way too mechanic heavy because Bungie hates when people 2-man the raids. The rewards match the activities. The activities just aren't up to it in the end.
-
Who the he11 streams this game anymore
-
Agreed, I have ran the raid a few times it doesn’t have the same appeal to me now so I won’t get them :(
-
What about you stand up and click some buttons for Xbox lfg system? 😂
-
I don’t this that is a proper estimate. If anything I’d say most players who are still playing will end up doing prestige raid or at least trying it.
-
You’re writing hurts my soul. Put half as much effort into a raid and you might be alright. If 99% don’t want to raid, their problem. It’s fun. Go play another game if this pisses you off so much.
-
May i ask what is stopping you from doing the raids though? If you really want to complete the MoT then learn the Raid, All up all you need is 3 clears, thats it and lets say they give you a month to finish the book. So thats pretty much 1 prestige raid a week, i seriously dont think that is too much to ask for. just do yourself a favour and just do it, before it is too late.
-
More than 1% do the prestige raids. And tbh they made the new prestige raids so insanely easy. It’s exactly the same you just are forced to use a certain load out
-
No offense, but reading this hurt my already exhausted brain...
-
Cry about it. Please. Its funny.
-
I have a headache after trying to read this..
-
I'm not a streamer by any means whatsoever and have over 200 D2 raid clears. Half of which has been done on LFG with complete strangers. "If you want something bad enough you'll find a way, If you don't...You'll find an excuse!" All it takes is effort and determination. No one ever got good at something by failing once or twice and giving up!

Edited by BossCharacter: 7/19/2018 1:24:35 AMBoo hoo. Y’all act like you raise this point for others when in reality you only care about it because it’s inconvenient to you. Just play the content, get the rewards. Or just complain like a child. One of those is the wiser option.
-
You dont have to complete the prestige raid to get a catalyst to drop. They drop from any chest. There are plenty of chest that are easy enough to get to.
-
no you can thank activision bungie for that...they do the same stupid crap with wow if you haven't noticed

Edited by GFT Calf Slicer: 7/19/2018 3:31:42 AMThere is no way you have any type of the d1 “accomplishments” you infer you have without completing multiple hard mode raids. Hell dam near every good gun in year one was tied to a hm raid. Year 2 it was tied to trials for the most part. I seriously doubt I would be considered good at gaming in general by most players standards, yet I have managed multiple completions on a near weekly basis. I firmly support the no more participation trophy philosophy that destroyed what I and many other people thought this game could have and should have been.
-
Yeah, it's not going to be handed to you. NO ONE WANTS EASY RAIDS. IF YOU WANT A CASUAL EXPERIENCE DONT LOOK TO RAIDS
-
You’re only going to get “left behind” if you decide “man, raiding actually takes a vague bit of effort. Instead of putting out said effort I’ll just complain and hope that Bungie caters to me.” Raiding is not that difficult. You’re just lazy.

Here’s a napkin for your tears.

It's their game fam and if they want to lock shit behind activities that anyone can do then they can. Rewards are meant to mean something you know so if you want it you've got to put the effort and rise above or keep bitching about it and don't get it. Also I wont get them either as I am solo player for life and also I did the do the raids in D1 as well and they were fun, I just got out of my comfort zone. The thing is I don't care about one boss, mechanics heavy raids or raid lairs so I wont do them and it's fair that I wont get the rewards from it. So get on that lfg and find a team or keeping posting here.

Lol. If you really did all of D1 like you claim, then this is obviously sarcasm.
