99 % left behind
98 to 99 percent of gamers wont get raid catalyst or complete triumphs due to be placed in Prestige raids.We can thank twitch streamers and youtubers for that.crying to easy to easy.Cant believe Bungie is listening. to them.its easy for them to get the best players.If they dont have a full raid team they can just ask thier chat.i have only 1 raid clear in this game.its sad its come to this on d2.i did everything on d1.Ibet i have more time on this game than any twitch streamer.look me up on xbox1.

1 ReplyThe hardest content should always have the best loot and if you can’t do it then oh well it’s a game. Most of the raid and trials gear in D2 is trash anyway, so most people have never had any reason to raid. If there was something like fatebringer or genesis chain in the D2 raids, a lot more people would have an incentive to do them.

Respectfully, just stop. Stop blaming everyone else for your failure to do something. If you want to complete a raid, there are always teams available. It's no one's fault but your own that you choose not to for whatever reason.

That`s great, its exactly what this game lacks in a nutshell. You look like the type of person who type in cheat codes in games, when you get a little inpatient or reach a skill ceiling. Bungie should do their best to keep opinions from your kind away from the development team.

I also hate event items being in raids these are not raid items or end game items so anyone should be able to get them but as others have pointed out to be there is so little actual content in D2 they have to use what they got... and Bingie will always pander to youtubers and twitch streamers.... they want sales people watching D2 video's that haven't been conned by Bungie yet are ripe targets.

2 RepliesI don't think non-raid catalysts should be locked in a raid. I haven't done a raid yet, and since I have no friends I probably won't. That being said, I think that there should be raid-specific weapons & catalysts ONLY available for doing the raid. Public Event-specific, Strike-specific, Nightfall-specific, EP-specific, etc. Better and better rewards and gear specific only to certain events. Make it above and beyond the normal legendaries and exotics available to the general public players, like myself. If I wanted an extra-special weapon, and then want to masterwork it, then I should have to do that specific event.

confused by this? you said you did everything in D1 How was that less of a grind unless you are only talking about the catalyts (that is rng though you may get it on firs raid) Kinda on you if you have only done 1 raid though specially if you did multiple im assuming in D1? or are you going to say no one I played with on D1 play D2 cant find a team no one raids, dont want to join a clan...personally I moved from XBone to PC for D2 and no one from my old clan did, this has not held me back from joining a new clan day one and having a laugh and completing raids etc.

1 ReplyI personally don’t pay attention to Streamers, I honestly don't see the appeal. Seems to be a millennial thing... Hopefully this is just a phase and youtubers / streamers fizzle out like most other things. I don't see why Bungie should take notice of them either, imo it'll only damage Destiny in the long run. Streamers do not represent me or probably the vast majority of players, I don’t understand how they are akin to an elected official (for Destiny players). Streamers care about making themselves money, when the popularity of Destiny fizzles out they’ll move onto the next game (if they haven’t already).

They keep trying to give people reasons to do the raids rather than changing the game in a way that actually represents what a lot of people would want. When it comes to something like weapon catalysts or upgrades, they should be treated like exotic engrams and be available through any sources that drop them.

2 RepliesSadly Bungie doesn't care. And if you look at any of their streamers video or YouTube the view numbers are way down. No one is watching. There is nothing to watch. Even big time D1 streamers have nearly completely abandoned the game. Having these in Prestige Raids is stupid. It wasn't well thought out. The Solo player is nothing to Bungie and they're showing it. Even most of us who are in Clans have watched them diminish. Most of this is the reason I won't Pre Order the next DLC or Season Pass. I'll wait to see what happens

Why is everyone moaning about this; it's moments of triumph! Every single moments of triumph have involved completing all the game has to offer, and that included hard mode raids! I probably won't conplete moments of triumph; I only have one full completion of the leviathan raid... and will I be dissappinted if I didn't get it done? Probably yes! But that's on me!!

Yes, they should be for challenge mode and optional, not prestige. However, if you don't have stuff locked behind a difficult challenge we get D2 initial release all over again. Bungie needs to listen to the raiders, but the streamers aren't all the raiding community. I know a large portion of raiders who wish some streamers would just SHUT UP. Prestige should be a difficult activity with an amazing reward that makes you get up and create your own static to try to clear it. It may take you a few weeks but if you put the time in you should be rewarded for it. D1 raids were great for normal modes but they were horrible in Prestige, far too forgiving and easy. They needed to expand and push the raiders further to get better. You are not entitled to gear, you need to earn it.

1 ReplyI picked up Warframe again about a week ago. And uh. It's just really fun. I only hop on destiny for crucible now. The active crucible community plays like cancerous tumors, but the active raiding community are way worse in my opinion. Raids come easy to me, and so does PvP. Only PvP is close to fun anymore. I played a single quickplay game today, and dropped 41 people. That felt really good. What doesn't feel good, is trying to teach new people how to do a raid nearly every time I go to do one.
