98 to 99 percent of gamers wont get raid catalyst or complete triumphs due to be placed in Prestige raids. We can thank twitch streamers and youtubers for that.crying to easy to easy.Cant believe Bungie is listening. to them.its easy for them to get the best players. If they dont have a full raid team they can just ask thier chat.i have only 1 raid clear in this game.its sad its come to this on d2.i did everything on d1.Ibet i have more time on this game than any twitch streamer.look me up on xbox1.

Just watching it all play out like it is makes it almost impossible to not believe that Bungie is trying to run off everyone that doesn’t raid. Which is unfortunate because most experienced Raiders DO NOT welcome rookies into their Fireteam. “Most”, not all. Take note.
-
Cant believe Bungie is listening to them
Are you kidding? That ALL they listen to. Were you invited to the summit? Me either....
-
stop typing like an autistic cow with all your periods and maybe i’ll take you seriously. just join a clan or lfg for a group it’s not that hard
-
I have never done a raid in D2. I think I tried just one in D1. I have only so much time in a day to play. Finding other people just takes to long. I remember trying to do a raid and people would quit half way through or you would get a full group FINALLY and someone would say give me min. 15 min. later, more time wasted.
-
Not trying to do the whole haha I'm better than you thing. But are the prestige raids REALLY that hard for some of you? Like honestly, other than Calus Prestige Levi is pretty easy. 2 extra dogs, everyone has to run in gauntlet, and simply one phase baths like everyone always does? It's just really not that difficult until you get to Calus, and that just takes time and practice.
-
Blame me too. I'm of the mindset that not everything should be accessible to everyone. Only the few who put in the effort and accomplish feats should be eligible. Otherwise, what's the point? Why not just have an armory where I can select every gun with whatever perks I want before I head out from the tower? I personally probably wouldn't play that type of game much. I enjoy the journey sometimes more than the destination. I likely won't be getting either of the raid catalysts because my Clan is more casual but I'm ok with that.
-
You can get 400 PL weapons from the raid during the solstice event. But going for the armor will be more fun then going through the terrible ideas that are prestige raid lairs. I will only do prestige modes to complete objectives for my armor nothing else.
-
Poor me waaaa. I use LFG and do fine.
-
Pretty much spot on. I've said it before, Bungie need to stop believing that whatever TrueVanguard and Slayerage say is what this game needs. Their input is just as valid as everyone else's, but unfortunately it's all they listen to. They learned nothing from Escalation protocol and they are going to do the same thing again and again. The guys they invite to their seminars only see things how they want the game to be. Being challenging to some of the best players of their game means most of the remaining players are screwed. I've loved Destiny and D2 for a long time, but sadly even I'm over it these last few months. A catalyst? That's my incentive to keep playing?!

your post is too illiterate for me to take seriously. read a book kid
-
It's there as a reward for those end game activities, why not just send every -blam!-er the whole set in the postmaster instead
-
Triumphs are a checklist of challenges, why do you deserve to skip challenges because you’re bad?
-
Prestige raid isn't even that hard.
-
Triumphs, and even entire exotics, have always had raid-exclusive elements. couldn't get Mythoclast, Necrochasm, Malice, nor Outbreak without doing their respective raid (half of those on hard mode only, which could be equated to prestige). Triumphs also checked for at least raid clears, some of them checked for HM. its not because of streamers.
-
If 99% of players are left behind it is due to their lack of effort and willingness to do the activity. Prestige raids aren’t hard. Most avoid them because they are boring in this game and the rewards are just reskined armor from normal mode. Hard mode raids in destiny 1 were just way better. But everyone has the ability to do the raids in this game by putting in the effort. No one is left behind unless they just choose to stay behind.
98 to 99 percent of gamers wont get raid catalyst or complete triumphs due to be placed in Prestige raids. We can thank twitch streamers and youtubers for that.
I'll probably never touch the Raid or Lairs, but that's my choice that I have made and accept; has nothing to do with streamers or Youtubers. Some rewards should be hard to get; I sure as sh*t don't want a participation trophy.
Ibet i have more time on this game than any twitch streamer.look me up on xbox1.
Just not in the Raid apparently.....
-
More than 99% of people will never own a Rolls Royce or their own business or many things. But, 99% of people could if they really wanted to and put in the right kind of effort. The raiders you speak of at one point also had 0 raid clears, all you have to do is do what they did back then.
-
87% of the time, 34% of most percentages are made up, 88% of the time.
-
Good riddance to casuals

I think that both sides are right here. I am a solo player and admittedly pretty much suck at this game, however that should not mean that content should or rewards should be put out of my reach. Having said that, i agree that the good player who can do the top difficulty stuff should be rewarded for his/her skill. I really enjoy playing this game but get frustrated at the extremely slow progession rate for the solo and/or low ability players that still put in a huge amount of hours into this game. I feel that putting in time should be rewarded as well, so what is wrong with scaling so that the game caters to everyone and rewards such as the subject of this thread are obtainable but either way you have to work at it where the likes of myself can still see the light at the end of the tunnel, but the tunnel is a longer one than the accomplished payer has.

Again, join a clan... if your current clan isn't Raiding look around. I was in the DOD for years but they became inactive, looked around and found another that Raids and likes to help each other. They are out there.

Space bar much?

Did you know 73.6% of all percentages are made up.
your accusation is false
Edited by AppointedPoet13: 7/19/2018 12:50:44 PMRead your post and all I could think of was: "boohoohoo, this is to hard for me, and I am to lazy to watch instructions so I know what to do when I join a group and now they do not want to play with me" Am I right?

The hardest content should always have the best loot and if you can’t do it then oh well it’s a game. Most of the raid and trials gear in D2 is trash anyway, so most people have never had any reason to raid. If there was something like fatebringer or genesis chain in the D2 raids, a lot more people would have an incentive to do them.
