99 % left behind
98 to 99 percent of gamers wont get raid catalyst or complete triumphs due to be placed in Prestige raids.We can thank twitch streamers and youtubers for that.crying to easy to easy.Cant believe Bungie is listening. to them.its easy for them to get the best players.If they dont have a full raid team they can just ask thier chat.i have only 1 raid clear in this game.its sad its come to this on d2.i did everything on d1.Ibet i have more time on this game than any twitch streamer.look me up on xbox1.

1 ReplyAs a former streamer, to the extent I have now created another account to strictly play D2. I myself have countless hundreds of raid completions, nightfall’s, trials runs, etc. The ability to stream for thousands of hours in a single games lifespan, is very difficult. Trying to maintain a steady flow of entertaining content for every age bracket is not easy, and can be very stressful. With that being said, I also believe that having a platform like, Twitch, YouTube, etc.... shouldn’t effect the direction a game is organically destined to go. When my HOBBY of playing games became more like a job, it was time to give it a rest. Bungie has no ideal what identity they want Destiny to be, a Shooter, MMORPG, or a CASH COW. Rewards should be unlockable across the board evenly, not behind a pay window, or by needing to dedicate ones life to get them!

Players aren't being smart enough to stop blaming other players. Casuals vs. Try Hards is an argument that game companies love. If a game was good enough, both crowds would be pleased. This is not an [i]either/or[/i] argument. It's what happens when game companies release incomplete games into the market, charge you, then playtest them later. This is also why there are hundreds of weapons in the game, and a pathetically small amount of those weapons used. Because you, the player, is doing the playtesting for the company, which they should have done before they sold the product. So, here we are, and after a bunch of people scream loud enough for what should already be in the game, suddenly people turn around and are happy with the 'changes', and a bunch of other people start screaming about the 'changes'. Because what didn't change is the company didn't first test anything then release it. You're going to buy Forsaken in the same unfinished format. Not saying don't buy it, but everyone here should be smart enough by now to realize they are buying a Beta that never gets finished.

1 ReplyThere's nothing wrong with giving specific rewards to specific activities. Not everything needs to be available to every person. 'Twitch streamers and Youtubers' have nothing to do with it. That's a very misguided bit of anger.

6 RepliesPutting exclusive gear and catalysts for weapons in an elite level of a raid that most people don't want to do in a game most people don't play anymore will not get anyone to play more. This kind of stuff just pushes people away even more.

Their "opinions" has always been taken over the entire player base. Cozmo stated that only 1% of the feedback is taken forum here, so that tells me this forums feedback has been ignored and has been for almost 4 years now 99.99% of the time. See, Bungie only listened to Streamers, YouTubers and so-call content Creators that don't have a backbone. Any form of legit criticism Bungie has ignored and refused to invite people that are not afraid to speak up. Look at the community summit. It showed it wasn't hard to teach dogs tricks when you throw "gifts" in their laps. See, Bungie doesn't look at the fact that people have a life and a real job that don't sit on a comp all day trying to get people to subscribe and call that a job.

They could introduce multiple ways to grind for loot, instead they try to shoehorn players into the raid, effectively taking away player-choice.

Thanks twitch streamers! It gives these top tier activities the rewards they deserve! If you can’t complete top tier activities then why should you get top tier rewards? All these entitled solo players are what ruined destiny.

I ditched this game quite a while ago...went back to d1.....its just....better...it just is. D2 needs to fall into a black hole never to be remembered. Awful mess of a game. 2017 was the year of dog shit games.

While I can do the prestige raids whenever I want I don’t really feel a need to at this point. The modifiers seems stupid an not something that should be in a prestige raid as they are overly difficult and unnecessary. In D1 challenge mode or hard mode was a good upgrade and didn’t have revive tokens or unnecessary challenges that made no sense at all. In D2 these modifiers and challenge modes and hard modes are difficult without meaning and seem to just be there to be a roadblock for players. It to mention the fact that some of these are harder than hard modes in D1 and in D2 our characters were weakened so much that some of these modifiers are harder than they should be. But I digress this is D2 trying to catchup to D1 which is something that shouldn’t have been the case in the first place as D2 should’ve built up from D1

All this has done is made my decision easy......no pre-order and hell, no order at all for the first month, going to have to see some reviews after this crap their doing.

It's just the next phase in the D2 overhaul plan after the "summit" to make Raiders and Streams feel like ultra special snowflakes again. They cried that "everybody can reach the level like me...and everyone can earn all the same loot as me but I AM SPECIAL because I have 30 hrs a week to dedicate to this game so make me feel appreciated". Bungie's response was take 2 years of work trying to make rewards widely achievable "no matter how you choose to play" and replacing it with crap tactics to alienate the majority of the player base.
