In Destiny 1, they felt powerful and durable because they launch you when you swing and even without ammo, you can still kill enemies with it, and feel badass.
In Destiny 2, they are nerfed so that when you swing, they don't launch you, and they absoulety suck when they have no ammo.
They don't feel powerful anymore and defeat the reason why you would chose it over other weapons.
Anyone agree?

The big problem with swords is the horrible hitreg and that there's a huge lack of archetype variety. There's currently only 3 archetypes and 2 of them are class exlcusive.

Well my Crown Splitter is dealing like a lot of damage per hit and seems to never run out of "ammo" sssoooo

In my personal experience the only sword I ever use is the Vanguard one, because it has the highest range I can find, so you can actual hit enemies. Such as in PvP where to counter a sword all you have to do is move backwards, because swords can hit an enemy if there is more than a Penny sized margin of space in between them, and I know it's not because I'm using swords wrong, because I know how to use blink and other movement abilities very well, also they should buff the ammo capacity, because that was the main source of the powerful feel in D1
