Solo players need a way to hit 385 without raiding. Milestone are not leveling anymore and I have no clan and cant raid. So is the game over for me?

They do have a way powerful engrams , just gonna take a while longer. Ep also, oh and i have heard that glory ranks are good to but i dont do competitive

9 RepliesNo, you don’t deserve it. Stop asking to be given everything and using “I’m solo” as an excuse! I’m solo too, I’ve done 1 Leviathan and 1 eater of worlds since D2 first launched, haven’t even thought about attempting the new raid. If you want max level, go do max level content and stop complaining like a “self entitled prick”!

Just do the milestones each week and hope u get what u need to be 385 to drop so u can be max level

GIT GUD!
From a Solo Player
I’m a solo player that doesn’t raid. I am at 384 on all three of my characters. I just need one armour piece on each one to have them up to 385. It’s not hard. Every week you can get a powerful engram from: -crucible -nightfall -nightfall prestige -heroic strikes -clan milestone -flashpoint That’s 18 powerful rewards a week and most of those give you a weapon and armour. It’s slow going you may only increase 4 or 5 light levels a week but you do all your milestones with one character then move your guns to the second do all milestones then move them to the third. I also wouldn’t use your characters in the same order because the first character you use will get lower gear then the third. Hope this helps.

Edited by Ganymede: 7/28/2018 5:40:24 PMYou're in an endless loop. The only thing that comes close to requiring you to be max power is the raids. If you aren't doing them, why do you even care? Also, solo players can easily do raids too. There's an LFG part of the forums here, there is one on reddit (I believe), and there are a load of discords that you can join. Also, milestones do still work :). Do all of 'em on all your characters, and there you go. You WILL power level.

24 RepliesSolo players need to realize Destiny is a multiplayer game, and has become casual enough in the past 3 years. Most of D's faults can be traced back to casuals complaining.

23 RepliesEdited by Lexandro: 7/5/2018 5:18:43 PMNo you don't. There is nothing in the game other than the raid that requires 385. So all your doing is complaining you can't raid, because you don't raid, but want the rewards from raiding. I play the game 90% solo, and only team up for strikes and raids. If you are an antisocial person its not the game at fault for your inability to play with others.

1 ReplyYou still can it just takes longer, my characters are all 380, and that's just from doing weekly milestones, of Flashpoint, Heroic Strikes, Clan XP and Nightfall. I hate PVP so I don't bother with Call to Arms, unless it's Mayhem then I'll do Call to Arms. I raided a lot in D1, in D2 most of my clan barely gets on and when they do it's only enough to do a nightfall. I'm really considering a new clan so that I can get back into raiding. Join a clan find one that is like minded, then you will have those extra couple of engrams.

I love how this is below a post from a solo player who's 385 for me at the moment
-
I usually waited for each expansion. Got to level 400 in D1 without touching the raids
-
I got something cravy for you to try that will level you up for sure. Go play the game!!!!!

Edited by MithBesler: 7/6/2018 1:59:26 AM
So is the game over for me?
I have not done a raid since the first week of Warmind. Have not touched my warlock since maybe the 3rd week of Warmind, my Hunter I think I broke him out for some PVP. Heck there is even two weeks since Warmind dropped where I have not even logged into Destiny. Yet I can get my Titan 380, if I actually put a few hours in this week I am sure I could be 380 with my normal load out. So I think this game was over for you long before now. EDIT: Yup after a hour or so I was able to get to 380 on my TItan using his usual loadout. And for shits and giggles I moved some 383 weapons to my Hunter and after just doing the flashpoint I was able to go from 366 to 373 with just the freaking flashpoint.

4 RepliesDude you haven’t even leveled up your characters a high as you can from heroic strikes!!
-
Hit 385 to do what exactly? there are no 385 solo activities. I think solo players should hit the max for solo activities and if you want to increase your light your going to need to do other activities that require teammates.

3 RepliesEdited by Raevenent: 7/3/2018 4:58:47 PMI play solo 99% of the time and still able to hit 385 and call it piss easy, what seems to be the problem?
-
Nightfall, then prestige nightfall flashpoint raids - stop making excuses strikes crucible Thats 5 engrams right there if you take out Raid. Stop complaining.
-
No you don’t and yes it is.

I don’t want to call you lazy but there are plenty of ways to get to 385 solo. Yes, it may be some grind but Bungie did state that reaching 385 without raid would be possible but only take longer to attain. So the expectation was set from the beginning. Here are the things I did: 1) NF (270) This can be done solo or as a 2 man if you are that motivated and skilled 2) Milestones These are not difficult to attain and usually drop a high level weapon that can be moved across characters 3) Valor (crucible) This is definitely a grind but you get your milestone and each level usually gives out 1 or 2 higher light items 4) infuse all your main weapons and gear with your highest blues I don’t know if it’s true or not but getting all my gear to the highest rate drop level would bring my blues up another light level. Expensive? Yes, but you should be making bank if you are running all activities listed above 5) mod everything you use regularly with purple mods. If you are serious about the number 385 you gotta spend the bucks and mod EVERYTHING. Who cares if it’s one you actually want if you’re just chasing a number? This can bring your blue drops up another level or 2 in light. Rinse and repeat... 6) Take the new higher level weapons you get and either infuse or use on your second and then third character.s. You hit 380 in no time. Don’t like side arms but a higher LL one dropped? Guess what? You’re using sidearms now and you just might find out you actually think they are pretty cool! If this all seems like too much work or effort then you really don’t want to earn your solo 385. You want it handed to you just for participating and that is what killed D2 before it even launched. I’m not gonna lecture anyone on the feeling of truly working your butt off to achieve ANY goal because deep down we all know what it takes to get there. Especially alone. Some of us just aren’t scared of the effort it takes. If you think I’m elitist you would be way off base because I put in time to get to 385. It’s just a matter of how much does it really matter to you?

Yup your done
-
dont need a clan and if i can do guided raids then so can anyone. yes its time consuming but it still gets your light up in the end.

Blame it on the horrible rng for powerfull engrams giving you items you don't need,if bungie would change the rng for lvling and give you actual items that would let you lvl up each week it would be much more satisfying, now it's just irritating to the max with their horrible powerfull engram rng

Edited by ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ: 7/3/2018 6:14:39 PMTwo at 384. One at 385. No raids. No trials, ever. All solo queue, except NF, with randoms. Do all the milestones on all 3, every week. Extra Heroic strikes. Level Valor rank/ reset. That’s how I got there.

I don't raid and I'm almost there...
-
1 Replyif you don't raid, you don't need to be 385. if its a goal of yours, then make it a goal to find raid teams first. then work on being 385.
