Hmmm.......Sweet Business.....

It’s called... an auto rifle

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! No, not even close. If you had a choice between shooting a mob with A) Suros Regime or B) Thunderlord. The answer is always B. Suros does not fire lightning rounds that can cause enemies to explode. If

The thing is, thunderlord is a LMG that takes heavy ammo. That would just make them big auto rifles in the kinetic and energy slots that don’t do as much damage as their heavy ammo using counterparts.
The thing is, thunderlord is a LMG that takes heavy ammo. I can't give you equivalent D2 dmg numbers; Thunderlord numbers are vs Tier 1 359 Body, 849 Crit headshot for Y2 at 300 dmg. Now vs Aksis it was 1124 headshot and 899 Body for about total of 120k. But here are Suros numbers; 28dmg headshots, 38dmg with Focused Fire. DARCI can do up to 51k problem with that comparison is not everyone is great at sniping bosses. Sins of the Past is capable of roughly 133k Merciless is 101k. So it's not like T-Lord is outgunned or clearly less viable. Sorry for the delay, getting hard numbers took time.

Edited by diakopoi: 6/26/2018 4:05:42 PMI meant that no one would use the kinetic/energy LMGs because they would do nowhere near the amount of damage a heavy ammo using LMG could do. So they would be in a very weird place in both PvP and PvE. So they would be cool, but they would be underpowered. Oh and the guy that made the reply that I replied to should say thank you to you because you handled his argument. Sorry if that sounded weird.

Oojhhhhhhhh! I really missed that! Yeah, they would be. But I'm not overly familiar with the new weapon slot changes though. Would they be available in the energy/special slot? I would have thought that true heavies would stay put.

I really don’t understand how the weapon slot changes will be implemented. I’m thinking that you can put all weapon types in all slots, but the higher up the slot is the less damage it does (kinetic does least), and there would be certain weapons of all the weapon types that could go in each of the slots. So for example you would have a linear fusion called “pew pew” and it would go in the nervy slot, but you couldn’t put it in the heavy or kinetic slot. Same goes for a unique kinetic weapon. You couldn’t put it in the energy slot or heavy slot, it would stay in the kinetic slot forever.

as far as the info and game play from gamble that's ben shown, damage remains unchanged, kinetic shotguns still 1shot, how ever they will be balanced out by ammo economy, it was mentioned that in order to get ammo for a special or primary shotgun a "shotgun ammo brick" was required, same for snipers and other so weapons, if memory serves it heard unknown player, my name is byf, aztecros, and a few others mention so. summing it up *damage remains the same *balanced thru special ammo bricks *heavy ammo economy remains unchanged hope this was helpful "It is done father..." - Saint-14

Thanks man! I was hoping that it would be like my idea but that’s okay.
