You wait for your grenade to charge.
You Chuck it into a room full of enemies.
They walk out with minimal damage.
I find this very unfortunate. In Halo, or really any other game, a grenade is something to be feared, something that you run away from, something that can clear out rooms.
In Destiny 2, they're a mild inconvenience.
I'd understand it if grenades were given once per life, or if there were pickups on the map that grant grenade energy, but as it stands, I often feel like it'd be better to just shoot the enemy rather than make myself vulnerable for that split second while the grenade animation finished.
A sticky grenade should be a one hit kill. Standing in the epicenter of a grenade's explosion should be a one hit kill.

Agreed, i use magnetic grenades on my titan which explode twice Everytime i throw a grenade and hit someone they walk away with almost all of their shield still intact Grenades are pretty much useless in pvp
