I find it it funny that we've been hearing "we're listening" for 7 months straight after every criticism and every time they get called out for doing something they shouldn't have done. They listened so hard they had to hold a summit and ask what people like and don't like about the game. If they were really listening, they'd know these answers. If you watched the videos of the YouTubers you invited, you'd know what they want to see.
This was nothing more than a way to use these same YouTubers, streamers, and critics as a marketing tool and control the narrative that the game is a lost cause. Make them sign an NDA so you can make a bunch of claims, have everyone talk about how excited they are for stuff the can't talk about, cause a bunch of hype for September, and not take any heat when those claims don't pan out. At the same time you look like you're trying to really listen to the community, like you've been claiming you do anyway for the past 7 months.

My agenda? Lol whatever you say, dude. I have no "agenda", I'm just highly skeptical of anything that comes out of this summit. If you've been paying attention to how Bungie has acted over the past year or so, it's not an unwarranted skepticism to have.

When other skeptics say they are satisfied, encouraged and look forward to the coming changes, it really undermines any credible dissent post Summit. Your positions are based on your interpretation of events, wheras summit attendees got the direct answers to your speculations. Therefore any continuation of this theme smacks of agenda. Otherwise you would have taken the more supportable position of "let's wait and see" when the facts can be revealed.

I have to say that at this point it's pretty hard for some people including myself to take up any sort of supportive position. Not because of any agenda. But because the feeling that Bungie thinks players will just keep shelling out money for anything. Of course this is just an opinion. But I can't help feeling that way.

Again, they were told nothing concrete. They had to sign an NDA because everything that was said is subject to change. There's no reason for them to hold back information to the community at this point other than causing hype. From a marketing standpoint, it's a great idea to turn the September Outlook around for the player base since the overall consensus has been "I'm checking out the 2nd DLC since I already bought it and I'm done after that and not buying the September DLC". So yeah, I'm going to remain skeptical. They're talking about a massive overhaul to the way the game is setup and have proven that even small fixes to bugs in this game is a big undertaking. Don't forget how much they hyped up things like the Infinite Forest like it was some awesome activity that would add countless hours of playtime. If it was simply me not liking a game and hating on it, I'd agree with your assessment of my post. But this is a direct result of how Bungie operates now. That's a fact that's irrefutable.
