Worst: I’m too torn to say but I don’t feel Lucky with a certain pair of Pants. Idea of a best?: a high impact auto with Nemesis Star’s firing mechanic and Outbreak Prime’s SIVA swarm on precision kills. Why? Because I like autos, and I like killer robot swarms. Throw in a complementing legendary high powered linear fusion rifle that does some weird SIVA spawning mechanic on precision kills if the target is still afflicted by the Auto’s SIVA and I’ll be a happy Titan. In SIVA I trust.

I thought, "oh hell yes! Sweet force punching ragdoll venegence is upon thee!" Only to find that it barely does damage and hardly blasts people back 2 feet unless you're killing dregs or Psions. I wanna blast enemies so hard that Lord Gaben would be so impressed that he'd finally release Half Life 3.

I only use Telesto, the colony, and mida. All the other D2 exotics suck in my opinion. Bring back all D1 exotics please, in addition to new ones!

But, the Warlock helmet that recharges all abilities after void damage kills is as close as it gets lol. That, or Celestial Nighthawk. Ruin Wings was pretty great too. Worst exotic? Gotta be the Young Ahamkaras. Mark targets damaged by a trip grenade. Uh.. “Yay?”

9 RepliesMy favorite exotics from D1 were Ruin Wings, Armamentium, Khepri, Obsidian, Juju, Gjallie, Dark Drinker, and Invective. All have simple, practical bonuses that significantly empower the player. D2's exotics are far less overwhelming. Most are either situational or simply don't offer much. The Vigilance Wing my warlock uses had no significant exotic perk, it's just a good gun. A purple or even blue weapon could function similarly. But the Sweet Business/Actium combo can really make for some cool PvP plays, and the Riskrunner is just crazy-devastating under certain circumstances (Devour warlock against arc-happy enemies). And the Colony is a worthy exotic as well.

Worst exotic: Tractor Cannon - at least the Aeon pieces had an upside to using them. Best Exotic: The Colony - Improves upon base Grenade Launchers in a very cool way. Actually useful and powerful. (in PvE and PvP)

They're crap because they were all designed (or stripped down in the case of exotics that carried over from D1) to do 'tricks"....rather than actually give players POWERS that impact game play in meaningful ways. Its just ANOTHER example of how Jon Weisznewski hamstrung this game in his all out bid for "balance" in the Crucible....and to globally NERF our Guardians. You know there is a problem when people run no-exotic builds...and don't feel like they're missing anything for having done so.

2 RepliesWorst exotic in the game? Fighting Lion. You can be a master of stoning enemies to death, but a shot to the weakpoint with a firearm will always be more reliable. Get my point? Best exotic in the game? Lion Rampant. Why? It let's me fly and find out of map glitches with the titan.
