Any chance the destroyed old D1 tower returns as a PvP map?
I think it would be hella cool.
Do some clean up, cleave some lanes.
Could be the D2 version of Bannerfall
Name it "Old Home" or something.

That would be cool and we can have a mass grave/shrine to anyone who died and all of our loot we lost in like where the iron Banner guy was or the vandguard hall that way it will be dark but respectful just a thought.

That would be fun as hell!!! Nostalgia coming you way! But a bigger map than banner fall with all the locations we used to have.... if they aren't all gone... Could the old maps be made available through a vex simulation crucible mode? Like we jacked a simulator and used it for matches?

2 RepliesI doubt it. The layout wouldn't be conducive to a PvP environment. They'd have to change it quite a bit, to allow it to work; and if they changed it enough to work, it probably wouldn't even be recognizable as the old Tower anymore. Bannerfall worked, because it was designed as a PvP map from the beginning.

3 RepliesNice idea but it's not built like Bannerfall, frankly would require a lot of work in general to balance for PvP, and is actually currently under construction. Having Guardians running around fire rockets and throwing around exploding hammers at newly put up walls could leave some pretty angry contruction crews come next morning.

3 RepliesHope not because it would show how bad bungie lack of imagination is. I could think of better things to do with it other then a another pvp map. Like for example a part demolition of the old tower so it can be reconstructed and then linked with the new tower so in that way it would give more space for things like new faction groups - the re-establishing of the hail of vanguards and other facilities.

don't see that happening. pvp maps take lots of thought and design before they can become suitable for players to fight each other on.
