I'm trying contacts today. Reverse AMA

I decided to finally get contacts today and the first thought i had was, man glasses make everything look smaller, i noticed this while walking through my bathroom and i caught a glimpse of my bicep. All-in-all, i think i'm going to like contacts. anyone else out there have any stories, advice, or anything they want to get of their chest (can or cannot be about contacts/glasses, you decide). Feel free to post below or Pm me. It's a TMA, tell me anything [EDIT] Day two, type two. Today i am trying a cheaper version of daily contact. Option two was great also, i didn't notice an immediate difference. but that may be because i only had them in for one day, Day Three, Type One again Easier to get in feels smoother

  • Don't rub your eyes, and put lubricating saline in your contacts before you put them in your eyes

      • I've worn glasses since first grade, and it'd be nice to do the things I could do with contacts that I can't with glasses, but I just can't do it. I can't put anything near my eye without immediately shutting it and refusing to reopen it. I can't even pry my eyelids open to put eye drops in.

        • I hope I won't need them. It looks weird watching somebody stick a thing with their finger onto their eye.

Make sure to rinse them when you take them out or are about to put them in. Just make sure there isn’t a ton of solution on the contact or else it won’t stick to your pupil. Never sleep with them in. The doctor will probably say that you should change your contacts every 2 to 3 weeks. In my experience, you can change your contacts every 2 to 3 months. This will save you money in the long run. I suggest getting a pair of glasses, too. Your eyes will get tired of wearing contacts, so wearing glasses can help with that.
