What's your favourite D2 Strike and why?
My favourite is The Arms Dealer, because it's got some nice variety in it with a few good encounters, most notably the room with the two tanks and an enjoyable Boss fight.
What's yours and why?
[spoiler]My least favourite is Exodus Crash due to the ever disappearing boss at the end.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesSavathuns song. I just like slamming the last orb while the music is going. The music and theme of it is entertaining in itself. Wish it and the rest of the strikes were more involved though. Like the hive actively summoning knights and whatnot, portals to the ascendant realm we can go through optionally to do a thing. Brakeon's fight making use of the lazers. Vex in general making more use of their containment ability, platform, grav lift, and whatever else spawning as well. Strikes are so close to being unique and memorable. Did I reply to this thread already? I lose track.

Pyramidion. Interesting dialogue, good encounters. Amazing area design. And a boss fight music which is worthy of a Raid Boss.

5 RepliesI like all of them, including Exodus Crash. IDW people dislike that strike so much. I enjoy having the different style boss fight. My favs are the Pyramidion, and Savathun's song. Both have rad world and space design . But Savathun's Song has a very dark story line that I wish Bungie would do more often.

The Arms Dealer is very good. Strange for a long while when I started playing the game in 2017 december that Strike never pop. I didnt even know it is exist. The other good thing with it when I was 1st time there I was with other two random guy who not skip everything. I think they were there 1st time also. We go slowly exploring, cover eachother. I think that run was the best for me so far. I dont like this skipping mindless faceroll strike runs. That way it is more about farm not about fun.

Savathuns song because I think it's the easiest to stay alive on when the rest of the fireteam has died. Which means no wipes, no starting over.

There’s your core combat, infinite forest, (maybe a super) then you get on your sparrow and race to the boss. 3 stage boss fight use your supers and win. I really like the sparrow part. Reminds me of srl Edit: you can use swords, and I love swords

1 ReplyI like the Arms Dealer strike, mostly because it brings back memories of the Valus T'aurc(?) strike. On top of that, every phase is thoroughly enjoyable, and the boss fight (in every phase) is challenging enough to make you have to pay attention, while still being fun. As far as my least favorite, it's hands down Tree of Probabilities, because up until the final stage of the boss, it's great. Then you're locked into a tiny room with no walls, no cover, and lasers everywhere, with a boss that can not only shred you in five shots of his fully automatic cannon thing, but can also stomp you clear off the edge if you're even an inch too close to him when he does his stomp. I'm looking forwards to the next DLC's strikes though, as long as they're more similar to Sepiks perfected, and less the Splicer Priest. :/

None of them. They're all pretty terrible. A simple thing like strike specific rewards would have me liking any strike.

I thought about this quite a bit last night. I still say I don't really have a favorite, if I'm running with 2 others. If I have the console set up to run solo, I'd have to go with either Pyramidion or Inverted Spire (with Savathûn's Song coming in a very tight third).

i just like the eerie , dark atmosphere of this strike, the good guys actually lose, and the hive get some much needed love for how much of a villain they are, its a fun strike, and its a hard nightfall to solo

I agree with OP on best and worst. Its always a good time on arms dealer if you can burn him before he flies away to his shielded perch.
